What a treat to look out of one's bedroom window straight over the River Wye. The location is perfect, close to the city centre, yet also in a quiet spot ideally placed for walks along the river. Polly and her family are very welcoming and their home is charming and filled with light, art and books. We also enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast made with local produce. Thank you.

Excellent location, lovely well kept room (with beautiful views), and Polly, Roger and Megan all absolutely lovely. Polly cooked us lovely food and couldn't make you more welcome, Roger too, and he'll show you his great artwork for free, and our daughter hasn't stopped talking about "her friend Megan" since we left....

A very welcoming environment in a scenic spot. Polly and Geoffrey were friendly hosts and the view of the river was second to none. The room was cosy and if you are visiting Hereford it is a great place to stay.

Polly and her family were wonderful hosts. They made us feel very welcomed as soon as we stepped through the door even though we had arrived very late in the evening. Their dog was very very friendly (requesting a belly rub quite quickly) which made the house feel even more welcoming. The house is situated in a nice calm and quiet area right by the river so was delighted to be awoken by birds singing rather than vehicles rolling pass. The room was clean and beautiful with the amazing view of the river. The breakfast was amazing and it was very nice to sit in the conservatory looking out into the river and was very nice talking to the other guests, Roger and Polly.

I stayed for one night in Polly's beautiful home. Her family are very welcoming and the place is full of interesting artwork and curiosities. I had a delicious breakfast in the sunny conservatory overlooking the river, which Polly cooked even with a broken leg! Great location just a short walk into the centre of Hereford. Will definitely recommend we stay here for the next Hay festival!
