NEW LISTING. Please note: this is a new location but I have another location that's no longer listed with many good reviews. If you want to get an idea of the kind of host I am, please see those reviews!

A true one bedroom with a living room and a very large private deck. I rent it when I'm out of town. Lots of color, lots of life. A mixture of finds from my travels, vintage gems, and modern comfort. The space is cozy and comfortable!

The space

There is one bedroom off the main area with full open kitchen and living room, and a very large private deck. There is a full bathroom. Guests will have access to ALL the living spaces. They'll have full use of amenities, including wifi, flatscreen, Netflix, Hulu, Wii, Apple TV, espresso machine, and any kitchen appliances. I am a very active cook and I love to entertain so you should have no issue finding what you like. The deck is my favorite feature in the apartment with a lots of greenery, a lounge area with 2 padded reclining chairs and a loveseat, and a full dining area for 6-8 people. There are solar-powered paper lanterns and string lights around the perimeter to keep a gentle glow on the space after dusk. The apartment is also air conditioned and has an elevator in the building!

I won't be around for your visit but I will most likely set you up and see you off at the end of your stay. If not you'll meet a friend of mine to get you set up who will likely remain local for your stay.

The Upper West Side is my favorite neighborhood in all of New York City. It's a little big of everything: downtown cool with uptown energy. Steps from hundreds of food options, the Museum of Natural History, Central Park, The Beacon Theatre, etc. You're also close to great neighborhood grocers (not to mention Trader Joe's) and wonderful shopping up and down Columbus Ave. You really cannot get any better.

The apartment is located between two major train lines, the 1/2/3 (express!) and B/C both at 72nd Street. You can be to Times Square in literally 5 minutes. Yes, it's that fast.

Guest access

You'll have full access to the living spaces but please not, this is my permanent residence and there's not a lot of... extra space. For that reason, I do not give guests access to the closet, dresser, or storage spaces.

Interaction with guests

This varies with each guest but I'm usually not in the city when you'll be here. I try to make sure a close friend of mine is nearby in case you need anything during your trip.

Excellent apartment in the heart of the Upper West Side exactly as described and pictured. Connor was an kind and accommodating host who was quick to respond to any questions. The apartment was clean, organized and comfortable with a lovely outdoor patio to enjoy on warm summer nights. Would not question staying there again and have already recommended to other friends for future bookings in the area.

I'm a Freelance Choreographer who travels frequently. Friends say I keep my room as clean as a hotel, which brought me to Airbnb.

As I travel frequently, I spend lots of time in hotels and have a pretty good understanding of what makes people feel at home. I strive bring those comforts to my Airbnb guests. I have also traveled as an Airbnb guest, so I'm familiar with the booking process and what makes for a great stay!

This is less of an "anonymous hotel room" and more of a "very short term sublet." When you stay here, you're staying at a real home with all the bells and whistles, things you'd never get a hotel. Comfort and cleanliness are key.
