It is a farm location so dogs do need to be well managed and could poos be picked up if they're in the garden but it's not necessary on the farm.
We hope you have a lovely time

Eddie's place was perfect for our weekend away. Extremely welcoming and cosy, great for a quiet weekend in the country.

The Old Dairy at North End Farm was the peaceful bolthole we needed for a long weekend. I’ve been an Airbnb host but this was my first time on the ‘other side’. Everything was just as we wanted and we could well be back for more, although we would have to work off the amount of cream teas we’ve eaten laid on by Becs and Eddie. We’ve walked miles with our dog, enjoyed evenings playing guitar by the wood-burner and cooking our own meals in preference to eating out. Eddie’s farm accommodation at the end of a track in the Dorset countryside; feeds the soul on many levels.

Nice cottage, in a very quiet and scenic location, well situated for exploring the nearby beaches etc. Eddie is a fantastic host always on hand if we needed him but not intruding on your privacy. Even though the history lives next door and there is another large cottage on the same site it really felt like we had the place to ourselves. Plenty of room for a family of 4

My partner and I stayed for a week in the Dairy, and we had a friend stay with us for two nights. We wanted to be somewhere that felt like a retreat in order to do some writing that was also well located for walks in beautiful countryside. The Dairy was perfect for us: North End Farm is at the end of a quite long country lane and feels pleasantly isolated; there are several footpaths leading away from the cottage across meadows and hills. But it doesn't take much time at all to get into Bridport or Lyme Regis by car, or to village pubs and farm shops, or the coast. The cottage is as attractive as it appears in the pictures - in fact, if anything, it feels even more spacious and airy - the downstairs ceiling is quite high. We were lucky enough to have blisteringly hot weather all week, but the cottage has plenty of large windows, and it was easy enough to keep the place reasonably cool. We found the bed, sofas (and the sofa-bed) nice and comfy, and the kitchen works just fine. The only minor problem during our stay was that the Wifi was hardly working. Eddie met us shortly after we arrived, and was the perfect host - relaxed, genial and really informative about the local area (he lent us some fantastically detailed maps - great for walks). He was contactable during our stay but respected our privacy. (Oh, and we were also welcomed by locally sourced ingredients for cream tea - much appreciated!) We highly recommend the Dairy, and would definitely return ourselves.

I'm from a Dorset farming family and run a small farm, and holiday letting business. I also run a paragliding tandem and holiday business and am a school supply teacher. I have 2 children in their teens who love the farm. I am enjoy challenges, would like fly up K2 and increase the recreational facilities at North End Farm.
When I am away the farm tends to be run by Richard or Becks
