Minimalist double room in a sunny 1920s Bungalow in leafy Grey Lynn.
Just across the road from the entrance to Western Park and 5-10 minutes walk to public transport, the Auckland Zoo, Western Spring Stadium, The Museum of Transport and Technology.
A little further down the road you will find boutique cafes and hipster bars/restaurants, along with supermarkets, pharmacies, butchers, organic food stores, beauty parlours, the buddhist centre, fashion retailers and bookstores.
The home itself is fully-insulated, warm and comfortable, however there is a heater in your room and spare blankets just in case.
You'll have access to your bedroom, a shared bathroom, and shared living areas (kitchen, living room, back garden).
Interaction with guests
Seasoned travelers, we're here for as much or as little as you need. Whatever the case, we are only a phone call away during the day and love to enjoy a wine in the evening if you're around.
Other things to note
We have a 10 year old rescue cat who is a bit of a character. She's usually pretty shy but if you don't like cats, best to keep your bedroom door closed.
- Smoking outside only
- We work on weekdays so appreciate quiet hours after ten
- Check in is flexible, but depends on our other guests
Friendly and well-travelled professionals.
We love history, wine and the TV series, Vikings.
Holly's favourite films are The Godfather I & II, Moon, Valhalla Rising and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.
