We had a fantastic 24hrs in Venice in Manuel's apartment. We had been recommended Giudecca Hilton and found this which was right next door and better value. It has the same views and is practically the same building with a nice airy modern feel. Manuel was very helpful allowing us to self check in (v easy with photo help) and also being flexible on the check out time. He suggested getting the Vaporato from the airport which stops right outside the apartment. It did take a very long time though - perhaps 1.5hrs but this may just have been because it was quite stormy weather. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Very smart bathroom. Giudecca is a great island overlooking The main island. It is much quieter and there are some wonderful restaurants and bars along the waterfront a few hundred yards away. It feels much more local and not as touristy as the main island. One watch out is that you just need to check the Vaporato timetable and be on top of that. It goes direct to Zatare (some great waterfront bars and restaurants here inc a wonderful Gelateria just by the shuttle stop), or San Marco and takes about 10-15min. They go every 30min. So whilst it takes a little time to get from a to b it is very simple and being quiet / away from tourists more than makes up for this!

We had a great time at Manuel's place, the Venetian Soho. The apartment was clean, spacious, stylish and well equipped. Has a huge living room with great view to the main island and to the shore of Guidecca. Two bathrooms and two bedrooms in the apartment. Easily can sleep four or more if someone also stays in the living room. Secure building and safe neighbourhood. During the night it's especially quiet since it's not on the main Venice island. It is further from the main touristy areas, it took about 20-25 minutes to reach the St. Mark Square (boat + walk). This distance is not a big deal, did not bother us at all. The boat costs 5 EUR each direction, if you stay longer, consider buying a pass. Manuel was a great host: great apartment, quick responses, easy self check-in and check-out process (we appreciated since we arrived super late around 11pm), plus a few tips what to visit, where to eat, what to check out. Definitely recommend it, would stay again at the Venetian Soho without a question. Thanks Manuel.

We had the intention to allow us some luxury and comfort for our Venice trip and Manuel's place was no less than perfect! Spacious, arty, quiet, complete! It can easily host 4 persons, so we (2 pax) didn't even used the full potential of the place. Manuel communicates very accurate and his (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) messages guided us around. The location is a bit remote, but once you know where to go, there's a wide choice of nice bars and restaurants in Giudecca. An excellent way to be away from the crowd but close to all the treasures Venice has to offer. And with the (free) Hilton Shuttle you go directly to San Marco in 15' which was absolutely convenient. We'll do it again!

A nice place, but difficult to communicate with for check in. There was no information left about the apartment, including wifi or location recommendations. The apartment is in a great location.

Manuel's apartment is a very nice big apartment with a beautiful view onto Venice. It is located on another island and you always need to take the boat from Venice to get there (no bridges), but it is charming to go home by boat. The apartment was clean and we could do the check in even earlier than normally allowed. We had a wonderful time!

This apartment is perfection. It's spacious, clean and beautiful. We loved the view and being able to use the Hilton water taxis for free. Manuel was a great host and very accommodating.
