Welcome to my 2 bedroom apartment in the best part of St Kilda.....and arguably the best spot in Melbourne. Less than 10mins walk to Luna Park, the beach and Acland street which is famous for it cakes and cafes. You're also less than 10mins walk to all the trendy restaurants of Balaclava which has a direct train into the CBD in 20mins. There is a tram stop in front of my building as well which links you to anywhere in Melbourne. If you have a car, there is undercover parking as well!

The space

I've taken down any questionable artwork from the photos so the place is also suitable for a family of 4 with a queen bed in 1 room and 2 singles in the other.

Other things to note

Please note the carspace is only big enough for a sedan or hatchback. A 4WD will not fit. There is no parking on the street either due to it being a 4 hour parking zone.

Text or call Gareth & Margaret with an ETA of your arrival. We want to be able to greet you when possible and provide a walk-through of the home with the primary occupant.
If you require checking in/out outside those times please communicate that at least 24 hours before. We need to be mindful of other guests.

Please take rubbish out regularly. Rubbish bins are located at the front of the building just outside the main gate on the left (if you are facing the street).

Extra towels and linen are provided in the apartment. It is your responsibility to change your towels and sheets when staying longer than 3 days. If assistance is required or you need new towels or sheets. Please message so we can arrange asap for you.

There is high speed internet available but please only use it for surfing the net as it is not unlimited and will throttle when maxed out and other guests will not be able to use it.

Please do not wear high heels inside the apartment. It will damage the polished timber floors.

Please do not hang any heavy items on the exposed wardrobe in the master bedroom.

Good location, just a 10 minute walk from St Kilda beach and all of the shops and restaurants on Acland St. Communication with Gareth and co-host Margaret was great and they responded to queries quickly. Margaret also met us upon check-in and was lovely and friendly. The flat itself is clean, has a nice bathroom and the wifi is fast. The twin room is slightly on the small side, as was the kitchen but that wasn't a massive issue. The lounge isn't very homely and the sofa isn't that comfortable. However overall we had a nice stay and it's good value for money.

Super good location, right on the trams and so close to St Kilda beach. Also very good as it's close to the bus from the airport now (although it stops running at 7pm).

Great location, lovely beds and pillows, creature comforts, attention to detail, friendly neighbours, great storage, heating lovely, quiet area, safe complex, compact but light filled bathroom, kitchen fantastic, comfortable lounge and big TV. I couldn't fault this place. Thanks Gareth and Margaret. I'll be back.

A tip top location. We've got all the amenities and everything else we needed. Supermarkets, cafes/restaurants, Luna Park are all within walking distance. You will also have a private parking space. The building looks quite old from the outside but the house itself is nice, tidy and cozy. Perfect for a family of four. Melbourne is expensive but I'm lucky to spot this rare find coz it's relatively cheap and value for money! I didn't get to meet the host but the communication had been very good. Gareth & Magaret were very fast to respond any of my queries, very helpful. I would recommend anyone to their place.

This place is amazing and soooo cheap. We loved how central it is to both St Kilda and Balaclava. Tram was right out the front and was walking distance to all the great locations in this area. Highly recommend it to everyone. Thanks again Gareth and Margaret.

This is a very convenient location to stay at. There's a tram and bus stop just a few meters down the road. There are plenty of shops and nice restaurants within walking distance. Luna Park is also close. The beds are comfortable and the apartment was very clean. Overall, I would highly recommend this place.
