Majestic is a stylish, well appointed and spacious beach house - perfect for a family of 6 or a group of friends looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. It oozes style and comfort, has a great deck / BBQ area, and private access to the Palm Beach waterfront. Please note that Majestic is a downstairs level of a house. The upstairs level is separately rented as a couples only retreat with its a separate entrance and separate stairs for beach access.
Location -Majestic is located in a prime strip of houses on Greville Avenue, with private access to the Palm Beach waterfront. There are many attractions and amenities nearby - the St Georges Basin Club and golf course, Huskisson, Vincentia, Hyams Beach and the beautiful Booderee National Park. That is assuming you will want to leave the place once you settle in. You may just choose to relax and only walk to the nearby Greville Avenue Store & Cafe!

Key Features -Majestic oozes style and comfort, and has tranquil views of the St Georges Basin - accessed via private stairs to the beach. It is therefore a perfect family or friends getaway - fully equipped and supplied with quality furnishings, linen and towels!
Configuration -Majestic is spread over one level, opening up onto a huge, partly covered deck and outdoor entertaining area. There are three good sized bedrooms (one of which has a private, outdoor retreat), as well as a lovely open plan, kitchen, pantry,dining and lounge area - with gas fireplace to keep the house cosy and warm! All three bedrooms share a large and modern bathroom.
Majestic has shared use of a washing machine and dryer, located inside the lock up garage.
Outdoors - Majestic has a very large private deck and outdoor entertaining area - facing the water and with plenty of outdoor seating plus a gas BBQ. It also its own set of stairs leading down to the waterfront area, which is a short walk from Palm Beach. You can relax and enjoy the deck, or go for walks along the waterfront! Majestic also has an outdoor shower for when you come back up from the beach.
Heating and Cooling -The unit can be opened up to catch any available breeze and has large sliding doors (with insect screens) and louvre windows to almost every room. There is also a lovely gas fireplace to keep to cosy and warm!
Linen -Yes all linen and bath towels are supplied at Majestic. Please however remember to bring your beach towels.
Parking -Parking for Majestic is two car spaces on the driveway. The guests of Majestic - Upstairs are required to park on the lawn of the property, not on the driveway. The garage is reserved for your use, plus shared use of the washing machine and dryer by both units.
Pets -Majesticis a pet friendly property, subject to the following rules:
Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house,and absolutely no dogs are allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms
If your dog will be inside at night, please provide bedding in the downstairs bathroom / laundry
Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately
Please clean up dog hairs or anything else inside the house before your departure
Majestic is the downstairs floor of a house. You will have the entire use of the ground floor.
Interaction with guests
Our property is not a bed and breakfast, so we will leave you in peace during your stay, however if you need us, please contact The Holidays Collection on (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)
Other things to note
Minimum stay - there is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.
Peak changeover day - please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access - please be aware that there is no ADSL in Hyams Beach and poor ADSL internet in most other areas of Jervis Bay. As a result, until the NBN is rolled out, none of our houses offer internet access. If a house has internet, you may nonetheless use it with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is Telstra, followed by Vodafone. Otherwise, use your smart phone only during your stay or go across to Huskisson where various cafes offer free wifi. The Sanctuary Point Public Library and the St Georges Basin Country Club also provide free Wi-Fi.
- Our extra rules are as follows: • If you depart on a Sunday or public holiday, we may give you a 4pm checkout. This will be advised at the time of booking • sorry, no schoolies, no weddings, no bucks, hens or other parties • sorry, you may not exceed the number of guests that your house is rated for • whilst we take care to keep all in good condition and working order, nevertheless breakages, outages and malfunctions beyond our control do occur. When this happens, we will rectify a situation as soon as practicable, but do not guarantee or take any further responsibility • re the security bond held by airbnb for your stay: if you look after the property like your own, respect the peace and quiet of your neighbours, take out the garbage, don’t move furniture, don’t un-cable electronic appliances, only have pets if allowed, and do not get too drunk or rowdy…you should be OK • please also be honest in reporting damage or breakages, and plan ahead to leave the house and the dirty dishes in a clean and tidy state. Common sense stuff really, or as your grandmother would say: ‘nice manners’.
