Our driveway is long and narrow, please drive in but be prepared to back completely out.
If you do not tolerate critters, bugs, geckos and lizards, than Hana is not the right place for you. We live in the jungle and do not believe in spraying pesticides/poisons/chemicals on our property. We live organically and green. Screen doors are encouraged to be closed at all times to avoid critters from entering. However, no matter how tightly sealed a home is in Hana, ants and other bugs have found their way in. Chance of you encountering them inside is extremely rare, but it could happen. If you do not tolerate pests or lizards in any form, we highly suggest staying at any of the 5 star resorts on the west side of the island as they spray regularly for pests and are not located in such a green diverse environment as we are in Hana.
There are 2 dogs and 2 cats that live on the property.
The cats roam (as cats do) and the dogs are contained in the fenced back yard. There is a good chance that you will encounter one or both of the orange kitties as they tend to greet our guests. Please note that we do not allow the cats inside the studio under any circumstance, please leave the screen door closed at all times to ensure they don't find their way inside.
Both dogs and cats are extremely friendly, well behaved and welcome affection if encountered.
