Would highly recommend staying on this horse-lovers paradise, especially if you are travelling with your 4-legged companion. Great hosts, plenty of cheese and birds galore. A firm comfy bed, breakfast supplied and our dog didn’t move off her guest bed the whole night!

The view over the forest and horse paddocks is wonderful, and the birdsong to wake up to is just great. Shirley and Yuli changed from great hosts to great friends immediately and we're looking forward to going back to stay with them on a regular basis.

Thanks heaps to Shirley & her family, It was great to meet these lovely people. It was also great to meet their friendly fur babies! 'Lady Louisa' & 'Lord Henry' were gorgeous, (The Basset Hounds!) along with the other 2 dogs that I can't recall names for!! The accommodation & the thoughtful extra's was fantastic. The fact that our dog was also welcome, was great. The fact that there was even a bed waiting inside for her was so thoughtful & I think people with pets would love Shirley's accommodation. It's great to be able to travel with pets & find a place where they are welcomed & the accommodation is still as great as you'd expect. Now the accommodation itself was really lovely. Plenty of space, a very generous breakfast left in the cabin, along with fruit & chocolates. Yum! The bathroom had everything you could ever need & was roomy & practical. The bed, WOW, it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in I think. It was so soft & welcoming.. The location is ideal & typical countryside scenery for Tassie. It was a great location to go off & do many things. We visited the Wynyard Tulip festival & sights in the area , ending up in Stanley for a weekend getaway. We didn't really see the hosts much as we went into town for dinner & there was no one around when we left the next morning, but I just want to say it was great to meet Shirley & her family, we loved the accommodation & their hospitality. Couldn't meet a more friendlier host & a more comfortable, practical cabin to stay in.

A truly beautiful little gem in the northern part of Tassie. Our stay was super quick due to family commitments in the area. Friendly, helpful and also provided the most wonderful cheese and food platters. Great stay and highly recommend.

Shriley's place was very comfortable, set in an amazing property surrounded by horse paddocks and bush land. Very quiet and relaxing. I wish we had more time to explore, as we only stayed the night. A short drive into town and to the Makers workshop. We were greated promptly and warmly welcomed, especially by their gorgeous dogs. Shriley also prepared fresh bread, some breakfast items and cheese for nibbles. This was a really nice touch. Thank you for having us.

Shirley's place was great and felt like a million miles away from anywhere even though it was actually a short drive from Burnie. I intended to unpack and go out again for dinner but when I saw all the beautiful cheeses, crackers and other supplies I just settled in for the night. It was so good to find such a great place with lots of walks to take the dogs and I'll definitely be back again. Thanks a lot Shirley!
