My 2 bed/2 bath mountain home is situated among the tall pines of Arrowhead Villas, just up the hill from historic "Tudor House". When I need a break from city life I can't wait to breath the fresh air and enjoy the slower pace. Only 90 miles from LAX come explore southern California at 5,400 feet!
As a thanks to anyone who has already stayed in 2017: book any available night(s) for only $80 + fees each night.
* don't forget chains if they're required - this is enforced at check points.
Having stayed at many AirBnB places over the years I noticed that many places in the mountains had the typical cabin decor; great for a night but often times too dark and gloomy for a longer stay. My home has a lot of natural light along with a nice combination of color to keep things lively.
The front parking deck accommodates 2 SUVs and there's room for another car or two on the street provided it hasn't snowed. You walk down a set of stairs to the front door which enters onto the upper floor. The lower level has the two bedrooms and second full bathroom. There's also a washer and dryer if you plan to stay for a while or need to dry things out from a day's adventures.
The back patio looks north towards the lake (slivers visible through the trees) and is a great place to hang out for sunsets; there are four chairs and a fire pit table.
My past guests include families on weekend getaway, foreign travelers looking to see a different view of southern California, couples, writers and photographers, and those who grew up at elevation and need an easy return visit. Whether you're looking for a place to base your daily adventures, a quiet place away from distractions, or a longer stay I strive to make my home a perfect fit.
You'll have private access to the entire home. This includes: parking, living room, complete kitchen, breakfast area, 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, laundry, and back patio.
Interaction with guests
Having hosted other spaces I understand the balance between giving you the space to enjoy your stay and the responsiveness to address any issues or concerns that may arise. Access to the house is done either with a lock box code for keys or by using the keypad on the deadbolt. Some of the lights and the thermostat are automated so you'll always first arrive to a warm, lit house.
- Prefer shoes off at the door
- Limit outdoor noise to 9pm weekdays, midnight on weekends

I live and work in the coast communities of Los Angeles but truly enjoy the mountains. I love to travel - recently I've been to Hawaii, Colorado, Texas, northern CA, Pennsylvania, and Park City, Utah. I look forward to many more adventures, which includes opening my home-away-from-home to you!
