Jean-Paul's Airbnb was very spacious and comfortable with easy access to historic Paris via public transit or Vélib bikes (our preferred method). We likely the location on a side street within easy walking distance of many wonderful places to dine and shop. The only possible downside is a nearby bar that is very loud long after midnight.

Response from Jean-Paul:
Thank you for your comment. For the noisy bar, I usually sleep with closed windows, so I can't hear it. But I understand that with the heat of the summer it is harder to close them.

Beautiful apartment with comfortable bed, snugly couch and good rain shower. Apartment was clean and very tastefully decorated. The balcony is small but still fine to sit out for a short period. Area was quiet, but as it was August many shops/restaurants were closed so not sure if this is representative of the area at other times of year - Paris was quiet in general during our visit. Jean-Paul communicated really well throughout the process so no complaints at all.

Jean-Paul's apartment was excellent. Very spacious by Paris standards, full sized refrigerator, very comfy Queen-size bed, nice step out balcony and open couch / dining area. Larger than pics show. Jean-Paul was very accessible and quickly responded to any small issue we had. Less than two minute walk to either Vavin or Notre Dame Des Champs metro stops and a bus stop just across the street. Lots of different dining options in a variety of price can very close by. Luxembourg Gardens just a block away. Very walkable area. Lovely stay and great host. Outstanding!

This apartment is AMAZING! Even better than in the pictures. My mom and I stayed here for a week for our first visit to Paris. My mom slept in the bedroom and I slept on the couch (which is incredibly comfortable!) the apartment itself is beautifully decorated, with a magnificent balcony overlooking Paris. The kitchen is well-equipped, we had coffee every morning on the balcony and bread and cheese as well. The bathroom had an amazing shower as well. I will 100% stay here again WHEN I come back to Paris (not if). It is also walking distance to pretty much everything - St Germain, notre dame, the louvre, museé d'Orsay - even the Eiffel Tower, Champs-Élysées and the Arch De Triomphe (if you are up for walking). It is also barely two blocks from the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens. Really, it doesn't get any better than this. And some of the most fun was just wandering around the neighborhood itself. Lastly, it's just a few blocks (5 minute walk) the the Vanvin metro stop, which we used to go to Montmartre. A must. Thank you Jean-Paul for a fabulous stay in Paris!

I stayed at Jean-Paul's apartment for two weeks while visiting family in Paris and it was a true pleasure. Jean-Paul was communicative throughout our stay, and very kind in accommodating our arrival and departure times. The spacious apartment is beautifully decorated and recently renovated with new appliances and a very nice kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom is very cute and the bed was so comfortable. The living room is cosy and a perfect place to curl up and watch movies, or to come back to at the end of a long day out. The apartment is perfectly situated - so close to the metro and to the Luxembourg Gardens. I really can't say enough nice things about our time here, and would recommend the apartment to anyone looking for an apartment in Paris. I hope to stay at Jean-Paul's again the next time I return!

My mother and I spent five weeks during the months of July and August at Jean-Paul's apartment in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. To begin with, the apartment is centrally located and there is a Paris Métro stop less than 5 minutes away by foot - it's very convenient when it comes to accessing everything Paris has to offer. There are many cafés, restaurants, and shops located near-by, as well as a laundromat, which is very helpful if you plan on spending a long séjour in the city. The apartment itself is very welcoming and tastefully decorated, with a renovated bathroom and well-equipped kitchen. The balcony was a dream! Each evening we found ourselves outside having a drink, reading, relaxing, or chatting after a long day of exploring Paris. This was the first time that my mother and I had visited Paris and Jean-Paul's apartment made it the vacation of our dreams! Bon voyage!
