Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Cleaning has always been our highest priority and due to COVID-19, we’re extending our cleaning process. Our cleaning team use certified detergents which are non-toxic and meets cleaning regulations which kill 99.999% of germs and therefore minimise the risk of viral infection. We’ve increased our cleans to allow extra time for sanitation of contact points such as light switches, door handles and remote controls. Our main goal is keeping our guests safe for the duration of their stay.

The space
This beautiful 3 bedroom home is an ideal base for exploring the city. Situated in a quiet gated community - it’s a real home from home – just minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the city and all it’s top attractions.

We live in and love Manchester so are always happy to share our welcome guide with all our favourite places to go, tips of things to do and best spots to eat. Please let us know if you have any questions and we’ll do our best to help

Reviews from previous guests:

“I can’t begin to explain how much we loved our stay here! In the run up to our visit Richard was so helpful and gave us quick and informative responses. He was also on hand to give advice during our stay. The home was clean, comfortable and homely. There were lots of personal touches, and the decor was lovely! There were plenty of crockery and cooking utensils, and plenty of pillows, blankets and towels. The location was perfect for us! We will definitely stop here again! Thank you so much!” – Harriet

“This lovely apartment easily slept six of us with two double rooms and a twin room. The communal space was very comfortable, and great to sit in to discuss the plan for the day or indeed to have a drink and chat, or tea & toast at the end of the night! Great eating venues within a ten minute walk, and we found it to be a good location for our Manchester Arena visit. Brilliant communication and recommendations from the hosts” - Gemma

“A brilliant place to stay with everything you need and more! it was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The location of this property is also fantastic, we were within walking distance of everything we needed. The hosts are friendly and super helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this airbnb and host!” – Iona

The city centre can be reached on foot with Northern Quarter 5 minutes walk away - Manchester's most vibrant and exciting community - a bohemian blend of independent restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping (go to Afflects Palace), street art and design (check out the Manchester Design & Crafts Centre).

The centre of the city, Market Street and the main shopping district is just 10 minutes walk away where you’ll find a plethora of shopping, restaurants, bars and activates.

The apartment:
A modern apartment with three bedrooms, separate kitchen and living space and a small balcony overlooking a private courtyard and canal basin. The apartment has been furnished in the style of a beautiful boutique hotel, with fresh quality linen and towels provided for all guests.

Sleep: The master bedroom offers a king-size bed, with a double bed in the second room and two single beds in the third room. Hairdryers are provided in each bedroom along with universal charging points (USB/EU/US/AU).

Eat: The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, espresso machine and all the utensils you could possibly need. Aldi is the closest supermarket and is only a 5 minute walk away from the apartment. There is also a dining table with 6 seats if you are eating in. The cupboards are stocked with daily essentials such as tea, coffee pods, oils, salt, pepper, herbs etc

Relax: Dim the lights and make yourself at home on the enormous, comfy sofa. There's a 43 inch smart 4K tv wired up to Netflix, a variety of board games such as Jenga and also a collection of books including some by Manchester writers that are set in streets around the apartment.

Travel: For those travelling by car, on-street parking permits for up to three cars can be provided free of charge. For those on foot, the flat can be reached within a 10 minute walk of Piccadilly Station which offers both rail and tram connections to the airport and wider city.

5* Touches: Top quality bedding, linen and a little something to welcome you. The bathroom has recently been refurbished to a high standard and the double shower has excellent water pressure to wake you up each day.

You'll find many pictures of Manchester from the 1800's onwards around the apartment, many of which include the immediate area and others of key landmarks around the city such as Piccadilly Gardens - see what you recognise as you explore the city, maybe stand in the shoes of some of the people in the pictures and retake the modern day picture.

Stay comfortably for longer - use the iron, ironing board and washing machine - all inside the apartment and free to use.

We also offer a fixed price meet & greet service from Manchester airport direct to our apartment. Just let us know if you'd like us to help organise

Where you’ll be

Manchester, England, United Kingdom

From Richard, the owner:
Piccadilly Village is located in Ancoats, an inner city area of Manchester. This was my home for 17 years I LOVED living here, it's the perfect distance to walk everywhere in the city and has great public transport links.

"Ancoats has been named the hippest area in the UK to hang out in - and 3rd in Europe - beating 3 London's trendy hotspots and the Baltic Triangle in Liverpool, according to TravelSupermarket’s UK Hip Hang-out Neighbourhood Index. Manchester’s Northern Quarter is 9th on the list" - Manchester Evening News 2017

Located on the Ashton Canal, Piccadilly Village is surrounded by numerous places to eat and drink, endless entertainment at theatres, comedy clubs, cinemas and bars, also on the doorstep are great transport links to the whole city and to the rest of the UK.

A 1 minute walk across the road will take you into the peaceful Cotton Field Park and New Islington Marina with colourful canal boats moored up and lots of areas to sit and relax. Over (or under) the road, you have Vivid Lounge, perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a drink, it's frequented mostly by locals from the immediate area and has a very relaxed friendly vibe.,

Walk a little farther through the marina and into Ancoats and you will find several more unique coffee shops and restaurants serving locally roasted coffee, local ales from the micro-brewery serving an APA, (Ancoats Pale Ale).

The tram is a 5 minute walk away giving direct access to the airport, the home of M.U.F.C at Old Trafford football Stadium ,Old Trafford Cricket Ground, M.C.F.C at the Etihad Stadium is a 20min walk or 2 stops on the tram, Altrincham Market, all areas of the city, Salford Quays and the surrounding suburbs.

Within short walking distance you have the city, Piccadilly Station, Northern Quarter, China Town, Canal St, Bridgewater Hall, Manchester Arena, Etihad Stadum, Manchester Arena, Castlefield, Spinningfields, Deansgate, The Apollo, museums, theatres, restaurants, bars, universities and Manchester's new international arts centre, Home and on the doorstep is Ancoats where the industrial revolution began and now the hippest place in the UK and 3rd in Europe.
