Chama is a beautiful area. That is why I love it. It has great scenery, wild animals and friendly people. Plus a well-known narrow gauge railway (Cumbres & Toltec). Also many outdoor activities (Hiking, near-by lakes & river for fishing etc., horseback riding, walking or birdwatching & much more. Within walking distance of the Village, Railroad, restaurants and shops.

You can certainly tell that Sherrie is thinking of guests when prepping the house...she has just about everything you'd need in the house and available for use. It is an older home but fun and charming. She is also very responsive, and her neighbor came over to let us know that she was available if we needed anything. Overall, it was a great house for a great price!

Minutes away from the train and restaurants. Near a park. Great for animals. There are a lot of curiosities in the house! But it has the feel of a quaint country cabin. Would recommend if you don't mind a minor lack of polish.

Sherrie was very responsive to all my inquiries. The house was central to all activities in Chama.

Nice place that is close to down town. No air conditioning but with the doors and windows open the house cools down nicely. Thank you for the enjoyable stay.

Response from Sherrie:
My house has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each. It also has "2" futons but there is no description for futons on airbnb so they are described as sofabeds as they are used as sofas and also as beds. It is also stated there is a Daybed which is also used to sit on, nap on or used as a bed.

I am an active person that likes traveling and doing something memorable. Love reading, animals, esp. my dog and cat who go with me whenever possible. Love my family and my best friends. Like to socialize and share good food(all kinds) with people. Can't do without a good myst…
