Spacious enough for 3 and in the heart of the historic Pullman neighborhood, (the only US historic site in Chicago) this 1880s row house puts you within walking distance to museums, parks and cafes. Conveniently located 30 - 40 mins from downtown with access to all that the city has to offer. Historic Pullman is one of the safest neighborhoods in Chicago, but if you are concerned about safety in the city, feel free to contact me and I will help to better acquaint you with the city.

The space

There are 2 bedrooms: one master bedroom with a Queen sized bed, another smaller bedroom with a twin bed, full bathroom located off the master bedroom, and a cozy living room space. There is no kitchen but the apartment has a microwave mini-fridge and coffee maker. The house was built in the 1880s so it is a old house! Most of rooms have been recently updated however the doors the front windows are original and some of the electrical switches are out of the way locations.

No kitchen but has a microwave and coffee maker. Definitely get what you pay for here but overall pleasant stay. Neighborhood really isn't that bad at all. Plenty of parking which was awesome! Be sure to bring shampoo and toothpaste and stuff since it's really the bare minimum here. Kevin was great with communication as well!

I had an early morning meeting with a client and didn't want to deal with traffic so stayed here for a quick overnight. Keypad check in was easy, place was clean and comfortable, no issues with communication, and the unit was exactly as pictured. Kevin knows a lot about the history of the area which was cool to hear and makes me want to go back to check it out when I have time to explore! This was a great stay and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Exactly as described. We had a slight communication challenge, but once we cleared that up, Kevin was very responsive. I think we arrived earlier than he anticipated, so the space wasn't as prepared as I think he would have liked, but the location was good and check in was fine. I recommend it.

Very deceptive, entering the home was a bit difficult due to the front lock, at night it was a bit intimidating because of the neighborhood. But you get what you pay for. Great communication though.

Response from Kevin:
Thanks for staying Petya! You were a great guest and left the apartment very clean. I didn't know you had trouble entering the home and that is not something the other guests mentioned but will look at the lock to make sure it is in working order for future trips. Thanks again!

40 min train or drive from downtown Chicago, neighborhood is a little sketchy, but Kevin is extremely helpful and friendly! The place itself was fine, but does not have a full kitchen.

Response from Kevin:
Thanks for staying Alissa! It was my pleasure host you. I want to note that Historic Pullman is very safe and crime is low but if you go too far in the wrong direction you might hit some sketchy areas. Happy to help you safely explore the neighborhood in the future.

Kevin's place was two blocks from the train which was great. He was easily contactable, although we only stayed one night. However, his home was clean and comfortable.

Response from Kevin:
Thank you for staying Heather! You are always welcome to stay again!
