The house is beautifully furnished with a well equipped kitchen, although there is no microwave. The beds were very comfortable. The host is excellent and responds very quickly to all emails. We really enjoyed our time at this location.

Babcock-Hubbs house is a dream. Staying there with my parents and our 3 children was perfect. The house is beautifully decorated – feels like staying in a modern boutique hotel – with fresh white linens and a well-appointed and modern kitchen. The surroundings are idyllic. We enjoyed our dinners on the back porch overlooking the fields behind the house. There are little “fairy” lights on the porch to make the setting (including the sunset view) even more magical. The location is perfect for exploring wineries on the west side of the County. We also enjoyed apple picking at Campbell’s Orchard. Julianne was a great host and responded to every query immediately.

We enjoyed our stay at Julianne's house. Everything exactly matched the description that Julianne provided. A lot of space for 8 people, the kitchen even fit 4-5 people preparing/cooking food simultaneously. Short drive from Sandbanks. Julianne was amazing, her quick replies were extremely helpful. She also made a lot of recommendations on things to do around the area, she definitely spent extra time and effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Very pleasant experience, we would definitely return. Tip for future travellers, just make sure to allocate enough space in your car to bring the garbage with you when you leave. This was an oversight on our part but didn't pose much of a problem to us.

Julianne's place is a little piece of heaven in PEC, felt like we were at a boutique hotel, white bedding & towels and toiletries included, beautiful design details throughout, every detailed was thought out to make your stay a wonderful retreat. The is perfect for a families with kids, very spacious with amazing outdoors space, bbq and fire pit which was a highlight with the kids. In regards to the location we actually found it was an easy drive to most attractions, we went to the beach everyday, got treats at Campbell's Orchard ( closest place to the house), explored PEC lavender farm, hang out in Wellington at the Drake and new Enid Cafe (so good!!) and even took the kids to the Belleville marina! Wonderful week indeed! We look forward to going back! Thanks Julianne!!

Hi, I'm Julianne and the guy towering over me in this picture is Shaun. Along with our crazy maltipoo, Buddy, we've been appreciating Prince Edward County for years and would love to share our century-old farmhouse with you.

While we live and work in Toronto, we've been visiting the County every summer for the past 10 years and each year we love it more and more. As I'm sure you've heard, it's changed a lot in that short time but the addition of more wineries, breweries, restaurants, cafes, artisans, and exciting things in general has made the County that much more special.

After looking for a few years, we chose this house because of its close proximity to Toronto (only 2 hours door to door, assuming traffic is decent), its historical significance and intact original features, and its immediate surroundings. Babcock-Hubbs House (named for its original builder + its generations-long stewards) is a special place with unmatched views of open fields, unlimited stargazing, and unbelievable sunsets. We felt it the minute we walked through the original kitchen door and we hope you will too.

Wishing you a magical stay in the County!
