Such a cute flat, perfect location, 15 min walk to the pier and as soon as you walk outside out onto the street, you get a lovely view of the sea at the end of the road! It's big enough for two people, the living room is cosy and the kitchen is fully equipped to make an evening meal. It's also nice having an outside area to relax and unwind. The place is brilliantly designed, with a vintage feel, making it stand out from the rest and giving you that homely feeling. Pippa was brilliant leading up to the stay, answering all my questions quickly and recommending some fab places to go. When we arrived, I couldn't have asked for a more friendly host, she spent a good amount of time letting us know the ins and outs to the flat and what to do in Brighton. Thanks Pippa! Will be sure to recommend your place to others visiting Brighton.

This place is surprisingly light and airy for a subterranean apartment. Pippa and Ciara are super nice, friendly, helpful and communicative and get 5 stars from us on hosting. The apartment is quite nice and well equipped, but it’s more of a 4 star place. It’s well stocked for cooking with lots of teas and coffee, milk and lots of little extras, but there’s a bit of a musty smell that’s noticeable now and again in the apartment. Pippa and Ciara have done all they can do to alleviate this, because it’s very clean with air fresheners everywhere, but it’s probably just part of having a basement apartment. The living room furniture is not that comfortable but is adequate. Being just one block from the ocean is great. It’s close enough to Brighton’s center, but in a quiet neighborhood. We liked that it was in fairly close walking distance to St. James St. that has lots of bars and restaurants. We paid $712 US dollars for 7 nights, with the weekly discount, and the price makes it a great value.

Great flat in a brilliant location. The beach is a few minutes walk and it's only about 20 minutes to the centre of Brighton. Pippa (host) and Ciara (co-host) were extremely welcoming and helpful. There is a Co-op just opposite which was very convenient and a lovely little antiques cafe just round the corner. We had a wonderful 3 nights, the flat was just perfect. Thank you so much. Would strongly recommend this property

Hi,
I live in London and work in the creative industries but left my heart in Brighton where you will find my apartment here on airbnb. I spend a lot of my time planning adventures and seeking out new experiences here and abroad and love making stuff out of metal - you will see a few things I have made in the apartment!
