The space
The Guardian has listed us as in the top 15 off-grid holidays in the uk. The cottage looks stunning lit up in candlelight and is furnished with loved pieces of furniture and antique china.
Downstairs there's a spacious kitchen with woodburner, rocking chairs, gas cooker, small gas fridge (40L) and solar usb outlet/charger and big table, there’s also a hall area with pedal powered pianola and sofa. A cosy double bedroom upstairs, a big bathroom with roll top bath, sink and proper wc. Then a large bedroom with two single beds and modesty screen and comfortable chairs, this room can double up as a living room.
The outside space, has been described as a cathedral in the woodland, come and practice some forest bathing, light your own fire pit to share stories over toasted marshmallows. Surrounding your cathedral space there is the estate with walking, fishing, woodland, an apiary (we sell honey and may let you taste some mead), play ping pong, garden games or lounge in hammocks.
