The Brick Barn Studio is a sweet and peaceful private space on the first floor of a late 19th century Carriage House.
Guests enjoy private entry to their accommodation, mini kitchen, shower/bathroom, and laundry, king mattress on a unique built-in bench platform, and a convertible sofa for another guest or two. There is a privacy curtain provided for guests who would like a little separation between the bed and sleeper sofa.

The studio is a private 600 sq ft space on the first floor of a late 19th century carriage house, just a block from the shops and restaurants at 17th and Summit, one of Kansas City’s most unique neighborhoods, the Westside Northend.
Guest access
Guests enjoy private entry to the accommodations, and access to the whole studio, with mini kitchen, shower, and laundry. There are hangers, shelves and drawers with which to make yourself at home. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, toaster oven, induction cookpad, electric water kettle, and basic supplies for cooking, eating and washing up. The space is temperature regulated by mini-split HVAC, which the guest controls.
Other things to note
Please note the space has no microwave oven and no television.
There is an off-street parking spot reserved for the studio. Instructions for parking are provided in the check-in guide.

The Westside North End neighborhood is a gem in Kansas City, blocks from downtown, with an eclectic mix of turn of the century and modern architecture. Our guests will be less than a block from Goat Hill Coffee + Soda, Chez Elle Creperie, Los Alamos Market and Restaurant, Westside Local, Bluebird Bistro, and Clay&Fire. We are an easy 2 block walk to the Kauffman Performing Arts Center, with the exciting Crossroads neighborhood spreading out beyond that. Downtown; the West Bottoms; Southwest Boulevard; there is plenty to explore nearby, and close proximity to highways, busses, city bikes, streetcars and gateways to attractions further out.
