CasArtè is located near Porta Vescovo, in the central area of Verona and rises close to a portion of the ancient wall of Can Grande della Scala. The rooms, artistically furnished, welcome some works by sculptor Marco Crinelli

The space

CasArtè, located in Verona's historic center, just a few minutes walk from Piazza Erbe, the Arena and the Roman Theater, enjoys a pleasant quiet and garden view.
A part of CasArtè is reserved for guests and the welcoming, spacious and luminous Room Mimi, on the second floor facing the inner courtyard, has a spacious and reserved bathroom that for security reasons is not keyed but remains anyway exclusively for those who book the room. The sober and harmonious furnishings arise from artistic research that incorporates the signs of the city of Verona and the garden of the house. The room can accommodate a third single bed. Guests can use wi-fi and TV on request. The old town can be reached in about 10-15 minutes on foot or by bus. The fee of € 1.50 is not included in the price and will be paid on arrival. Smoking in the house and in the rooms is prohibited.
Please be kindly asked to send a message of availability to the host for stays longer than 5 nights. Thank you

Guest access

Guests will be able to access the area reserved for them but access to and use of the kitchen and the rest of the house is not permitted.

Interaction with guests

I will be available to guests on their arrival and during their stay, suggesting also artistic events and inaugurations of art exhibitions in the city.

Other things to note

For stays of 5 nights, you are required to send a request for availability to the host in advance by means of a messaging email.
In the neighborhood you will find: Posta, Bank, taxi, laundry, supermarket, pharmacy, bar and pastry shop. CasArtè is close to Polo Zanotto-Veronetta- University. Served by several bus lines to direction Montorio, Borgo Trento, historical center, Porta Nuova station or Porta Bishop. The area is not ZTL and you can find parking nearby. From CasArtè you can comfortably walk to the center of town. Buses from the Porta Nuova railway station in the direction of the center for Bishop's Gate are 11 and 12 on weekends. Night from Piazza Brà: 98 and 92 (I finish the race around 24:00) and until 24:30 to 90. Stop: You have to get off at the third stop of Via XX Settembre, which corresponds to civic 124. If you arrive in the highway exit can be Verona est or Verona Sud and continue to the center, Porta Bishop's inner door area.

Pros: lovely apartment in very good condition, spacious, comfortable, good privacy. Away from the very centre so quiet, but close enough to everything to walk. Catia was a lovely host. Cons: nothing really! A shelf in the shower would have been useful, and access to a fridge would have been good. But overall a great stay! We recommend!

Catia was a lovely host-I booked the room at the last minute and she was still very welcoming. The room was beautiful-like a work of art :). It was also so peaceful which was perfect because we had decided to move there from a very noisy place up the road. It was easy to walk to town and get a bus to the station. The bathroom was lovely. There were also some very friendly cats in the garden which made me happy! I only wish we could have stayed more than one night!

Catia's Air BnB was lovely! Very spacious room. She gave us fresh water and tea/coffee biscuits each day. Her mother was so lovely too! We had the fan to keep us cool that worked pretty well! The bed was slightly uncomfortable but I do suffer from back pain so if you have any issues with back or neck then take this into consideration. Lovely clean room. Catia would clean our room while we were out. Bathroom was lovely. We found it a bit scary walking back at night to the apartment as there was quite a few people sitting around on the paths drinking on the road leading to the Air BnB. However during the day - no issues- only a 15 minute walk to the arena! Thank you Catia - we had a lovely stay in Verona!

Response from Catia:
Hi Abi, thank you so much. About of the bed, I would like to inform the future guests that the slats are in wood (new) and the mattress is normal, robust without the springs. The fan is normal.

This apartment is pretty easily reachable by bus, and is technically walkable from the center of Verona if it's not as hot as it was when we were there this summer. Beautiful room and bathroom, impeccably clean! The big orange cat is a huge sweetie, as is Catia herself. No kitchen amenities, but fresh water/tea/biscuits provided in the entryway. The neighborhood is quite nice and well-kept, and there are a few restaurants and things available nearby, although most of the primary sights are in the center. There is a shower AND a bathtub, which feels pretty ritzy to me. We had a lovely stay!

Catia was a great host! She was very friendly en helpful. The room and bathroom are super clean, and the city center is only 15 minutes by foot (which is a chill walk too). We would definetely recommend Catia (and Verona!). Free parking spot a few minutes from the apartment. Thank you very much Catia!
