Straddie Treehouse, set over three levels and surrounded by greenery, is located in the heart of Point Lookout - colourful, casual and close to almost everything the Point offers. It comprises a full kitchen, 3 large and airy bedrooms, two bathrooms ( with separate toilets) and a generous open living space. For some quiet time, there are decks on two levels and a loft accessed by a ladder on the third. Dogs and kids of all ages welcome!
Straddie Treehouse has several living and sleeping areas which cater well for different combinations of guests. Other facilities to note are the two Foxtel connections (one in the living area, another in the downstairs double bedroom) and a separate laundry with washer, dryer and ironing facilities. While the property is not fenced, there is an enclosure off the lower level which will keep pets secure in your absence. Parents of small children, please be aware that the internal stairs are not gated, and the loft ladder may need supervision (and lighting fast reflexes!)
Straddie Treehouse is within walking distance to most beaches, with the shops and cafes at the Point in one direction and the iconic Pub in the other. Bob's Shop at the end of the street sells a wide range of groceries (with a dedicated gluten-free section), ice, bait and gas. The Green Room at the Point is a specialty fruit and vegetable providor. Next door to it is the fresh seafood 'Shack'; a bakery and gelato store are around the corner, and across the road are picnic tables with knockout views.
A detailed list of business names and contact numbers will be in a folder in the living room.

I am the mother of four adult children, and grandmother to four small ones. Brisbane has been my home and my business hub for most of my adult life. When our children were small we built a beach house on North Stradbroke Island, and many wonderful memories were created around our Point Lookout holidays.
I love to travel now, and once a year try to explore new neighbourhoods of the world. But it's always so good to come home. How lucky we are.
