This apartment unites everything a tourist is looking for. Its price, coziness, safety and location will provide you a great experience in the wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro.
This newly refurbished place has a bedroom with a double bed (good closet and air conditioner), an extremely comfortable sofa bed in the living room, a big bathroom with a great hot and high-pressure shower (really important!!!), a fully equipped bar-kitchen, cable TV, Wi-Fi Internet and laundry facilities. The building counts on doorman 24/7 and we also provide towels and bedclothes to our guests.
Although it’s located in a lively street, the apartment is positioned on the back side of the building, ensuring silence all day long and a bucolic view of the Church of Nossa Senhora da Glória do Outeiro (Our Lady of the Glory of Knoll), which is one of the greatest assets of the Brazilian religious colonial architecture from the 18th Century. You will feel like a real carioca in the ancient Rio!
In a tourist point of view, the apartment is located in a central and strategic neighborhood of Rio, called Glória. It is the first neighborhood from the South Zone (the most valorized zone in Rio) and it’s known as a historical place of the city.
Only 100 meters away from a metro station, our guests can access basically the entire town extremely easily. By metro, Copacabana is only 10 minutes away and Ipanema only 15 minutes. Cinelandia, a centre of museums, cinemas and the impressive Municipal Theatre is only 3 minutes away. By bus, Lapa (the most bohemian place in Rio) is 5 minutes away. Also by cab, our guests can go to Santa Tereza, Sugar Loaf, Redemption Christ or Sambodromo (the place where the samba schools parade) within less than 15 minutes or R$ 25,00. Also, by walking 10 minutes our guests can reach the beautiful Flamengo Park, a lovely area that hosts the Museum of Modern Arts of Rio de Janeiro and amazing gardens along the coast.
Every Saturday morning there is a lovely food street fair 2 minutes away from the apartment. There, our guests can taste the best of Brazilian fruits and foods. Be aware that once a month there is a live free samba concert on the fair as well!
The location allows our guests to do a lot of things walking, as eating in good restaurants, go to banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, juice stores, cafeterias and bakeries. Right in front of the building there is a traditional bakery in Rio that is open 24h.

I'm born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. Although I'm really proud about my place, I've lived and traveled abroad for a long time. From the North to the South, I visited many places in the world and it allows me to fully understand what a guest really wants when he arrives at certain place.
