Our room in this small apartment was adequate for our stay in Barcelona. It was furnished with a comfy double bed, two small bedside chests and a small chair. A big window opened to the street side for plenty of air and light and some nights a bit of party noise. The rest of the apartment was available to us - kitchen, bathroom, and living room. Sam was away most of the time so we had the whole place to ourselves. During our stay, Sam and her friends were changing the furnishings so there was some clutter and disorder but we were away visiting friends and seeing the city much of the time so we were not bothered by all this. Exploring the local area was fun because there are many small cafes, friendly local pubs, shops for every need, and plenty of transport - metro, bus, and the Barcelona Sant railway station for longer trips. We especially recommend a day trip to Besalu, a charming medieval small town. If we return to Barcelona, we'll look for a place of our own near Sam's place!
