About this listing

I introduce you to my house:
My comfortable and centrally located apartment is in the Jewish quarter. It has 2 bedrooms, a shared bathroom, living room, kitchen, laundry room and balconies. I have a private room for a single guest with everything you need to enjoy your stay.
The place is privileged.
I wait for you

The space

The room available is very spacious and comfortable.
It has a very bright balcony overlooking a very narrow street with vehicles passing, depends on the day, more often.

The room is decorated with bright colors and young and has everything you need to spend a few days visiting the area.
It is designed for travelers, young backpackers and / or students and is equipped with a single bed of 90cm, desk, chair, TV, Internet access 24 hours, shelf for clothes, shoes and various wall and door hangers (Yes Needs a wardrobe, there is one available).

They can make full use of your room and the rest of the house.
They can make use of all bed linen, bath towels, fridge, freezer, microwave, kitchenware and utensils, hair dryer, TV in the lounge, etc ...
Accommodation includes use of the kitchen and all utensils for preparing breakfast (toaster, coffee maker, blender, etc).
I will always offer you and with pleasure, a tasting of the best olive oil in the world.

In his room there is a plank and a box full of maps, schedules and tourist information on all the sights and monuments of the city. In addition, a document with recommendations, standards and standards of housing.

The room available has enough to be comfortable in your stay and everything is always very clean and tidy.
The bathroom is shared, somewhat tiny and without windows, but it is always very clean and you can use everything you need (shampoo, towels, shower gel, toilet paper, hair dryer, shower cap, etc.)
The bathroom, like the kitchen, work with butane gas. You have to turn on the gas for the cooking and the shower and again, when you turn it off. I will show you everything.

The house, typical of the Jewish quarter. It has a floor (1st floor), is structured around a common inner courtyard with an iron gate in carved forge. We are 3 neighbors, so we assure you a family atmosphere.
There is a bicycle available for the host that allows you to tour around the city with her. Something highly recommended by the type of city and its numerous walks, parks and avenues.
The house has a large terrace overlooking the old town and the Great Mosque of Cordoba.

The house has only one fan in the room. The air conditioning is only in the living room (shared room) The summer months, it is difficult to do tourism in Cordoba, because the temperature is very high. (We warned)

I'll leave a set of keys and explain how to open and close the doors of the street and my house. For departure on the last day, if I leave, it would be necessary to leave the keys in my mailbox.

The WIFI connection is in the whole house, 24 hours and without speed limits. It supports fiber optics, video call and all downloads. The living room has air conditioning and tv.

My house is surrounded by good restaurants and taverns; Meeting places for flamenco fans and the bullfighting meeting, where the few classics in the neighborhood meet.
I recommend sipping a glass of the exquisite bitter white wine from Montilla-Moriles, at Bodega Guzmán, a unique place a minute away from my house.
On the way to the house, you can visit important monuments like the Mezquita and access to the medieval walled enclosure of Cordoba, the old Arab wall or "Puerta de Almodóvar".

The location in the old town is excellent for exploring the city on foot and feel safe.
Excellent and convenient choice for students, holiday trip, cultural tourism, culinary and shopping with the main monuments.
The main bus lines with direct connection to the TGV train station and the bus station are in a two-minute walk.

The Mezquita-Cathedral 0 km (150m in my street) Arab Walls and Puerta de Almodóvar 0 Km -
The synagogue km-0 (parallel street)
Arab Baths of Cordoba 0 km-
Puente Romano-Río Guadalquivir 500 meters-
Shopping center of the city 500 meters-
Fair (Feria de mayo) 15 minutes-
Red Cross Hospital 0 km-
AVE train and bus station 15 minutes walk along the Avenue mainly connected to all transport, for its central location and gateway to the old city. (CENTRAL JUDERÍA-UNESCO)

But surely what makes it a special place, it is certainly the atmosphere and authenticity its taverns, with its wines and their flamenco gatherings (Every Monday, there is free and authentic flamenco in front of my house: Taberna Casa Bravo)

I know the cultural and monumental programming of the city, the taverns and the folklore and I will be happy to show you and advise you well.

I wait for you at my house.

Other things to note

Household cleaning is always present in my house, so be careful of common areas such as the bathroom and kitchen. If you need any cleaning product, feel free to ask.
-Valoro a lot of cleanliness in my guests. So I beg:
- Do not consume food in the room, or on the sofa or bed.
"Let the room air well."
-And pick up the used kitchen utensils and keep the bathroom clean, just like that, they were clean and tidy (towels, plates, clothes, etc.)

Mara is a very lovely and welcoming host and her home is very clean and comfortable and an excellent base for a stay in beautiful Córdoba. Mara goes out of her way to recommend and help you with your stay, making sure you get to experience everything the city has the offer. Easy walking distance from the train station and so close to all the main sights. I loved my stay and wish I had booked for longer.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Cordoba with Marina who is a wonderful host. Her apartment is exactly as described and is spotlessly clean and very homely and welcoming. Marina gave me lots of very useful information about her home city of Coordoba. I enjoyed a wonderful evening of "spontaneous" flamenco singing and guitar with her father and his friends in a local cafe, a night to remember. In Ireland we call this type of evening "a session", which I would say ight not have a Spanish translation!

Response from Marina:
Gracias Anne. Me alegro mucho de que pudieras ver un poquito de la cultura popular y que disfrutaras esa noche. Espero que estuvieras muy cómoda y que vuelvas cuando quieras. Yo ojalá, algún día pueda ir a Irlanda. Mil gracias por todo. besos y abrazos

I had a great stay in Mara's apartment! Everything is as described in the photos. Mara is very pleasant to talk to and we sat and ate together a few times during my stay. She gave me recommendations of places to see in Córdoba and her communication before and during the stay was fantastic. Every morning there was a great variety of breakfast laid on and always a fresh pot of coffee! The apartment is very well located, 10 minutes from the train station and 15 minutes from the Cathedral / Mosque. I would definitely recommend staying here. ¡Muchas Gracias por todo Mara!

This place is perfect for a lady traveling to Cordoba alone (like I was). Marina made me feel more than welcome, and the flat is very cozy. The location is excellent- there is a fantastic restaurant down the block and you are within walking distance of both the main tourist attractions and good shopping areas. Breakfast was also delicious. I highly recommend this place!

¡Hola! Me llamo Marina.
