Truly a fantastic family vacation!! We couldn't have asked for a better time away...... clean, beautiful, fully equipped, friendly, and accommodating suite. Lots of beaches and parks close by. Not far from the heart of downtown Victoria and yet far enough that we were happy to have a rental. Greg and Jill were lovely to talk with and relate to. They offered use of laundry and asked routinely if we wanted or needed anything. There is some noise as it is a basement suite however nothing that ruined our stay or would keep us from booking again :) We would highly recommend this as a very affordable and lovely vacation home.
This is a beautiful, well-designed and well equipped suite. The beds are comfortable, the linens and towels are good quality. It is a light, airy suite and comfortably accommodated our 3 adults. Potential guests should be aware that this is a basement suite and that sound from upstairs carries down to the suite very clearly. Greg was a friendly, courteous and welcoming host who was there to greet us on arrival.
Greg and Jill were wonderful and very friendly hosts! Their communication was great and they were around if we needed anything - they even gave us some fresh green beans from their garden! The suite was perfectly clean and the king bed was amazingly soft and comfy! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, cutting boards, sharp knives, spatulas, a roaster, cookie sheet, mixing bowls etc - enough to make a feast if you are so minded! Plus containers for the left overs while you're there. It's a nice quiet neighbourhood and a short walk to Mount Douglas (2 min drive) and about 15 minutes (walking with a toddler) to a pebbled beach!
