Please read everything here carefully, it's actually quite important.
This listing is for a greenhouse found on a work-in-progress mini farm/homestead/ecovillage.
To access the Airbnb greenhouse, you will walk past some of our farm project, which may include some of the work-in-progress elements or projects we're working on. The mulch path will guide you to the greenhouse.
Think of it as a camping experience. Think of the greenhouse as a solid-structure tent. You would sleep indoors, protected from wind and rain, on mattresses, with blankets.
There is a propane heater for colder nights.
There is a propane grill and stove for cooking. There is also a small propane refrigerator and a camping cooler. Additionally, there are a couple grocery stores in walking distance.
There is no electricity.
The greenhouse can fit about 8 mattresses. If you need space for more, we also offer the pavilion which might fit up to 6 mattresses. Need more than that? We also have a converted bus or a tent you could use. If you prefer, you could also bring your own tent, there is LOTS of space.

Guests are invited to spend time in the mulched areas starting with the pavillion, the shower area, past the grill station, the greenhouse, and the composting toilet in the back. Other areas can be accessed at our discretion.
Interaction with guests
We love interacting with guests, and may or may not be elsewhere on site during your stay. However, we are also quite courteous and like to give guests their privacy.
Other things to note
The greenhouse is located quite near the helipad for the medical facilities of the University Clinic, and several times a day, helicopters will land or take off. It can get to be what some might consider uncomfortably loud for about 5-10 seconds each flight, but there are never many flights a day, perhaps once every 3 or 4 hours, and to my knowledge, not at night.
Our neighboring garden is used occasionally by some young adults as a place to hang out, listen to music, play outdoor sports like badminton or tossing a frisbee. Mostly they aren't around, but they might show up during your stay. They are quite respectful and shouldn't bother you at all.
