No wifi. Incorrect address listing. Hosts did not answer the phone. This apartment was very clean, and well presented. The location is great for access to the city centre, and it's very easy to walk into town. We were given all the towels we needed, and there was plenty of space for the three of us. However we had some big problems with this apartment. It is described as having wifi, and the wifi was not working. The person who checked us in (not the host listed on the booking) said sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. This was a huge inconvenience for us, as one of our group is a freelancer, and was unable to check emails without finding a cafe with wifi. A second big problem was that the address is not listed correctly. Only the address for the garage is given in the booking confirmation as no.5, but you leave the apartment through another front door entrance, no.7 (this is not explained in the booking confirmation). No.5 is not labelled anywhere on the street, so although we knew where the garage was, when we returned to our building at 10pm we couldn't find a front door labelled number 5. The garage has no door number labelled outside. We had our booking confirmation printed off, which says the address is no.5 - there is no address on the whole square which is labelled as no.5. We tried to call the host for help to clarify which front door was ours (the keys didn't work in any front doors on the whole street), and they didn't pick up the phone, despite us calling them many times. We were locked out for an hour and a half in total, which was very distressing for our first night on holiday. We asked cafe and bar owners in the area for help, and they said we were not the first people to ask them where number 5 was, so it seems other people have also had this problem. In the end we got back into the house by ringing the doorbell for all the apartments at no.7 (the correct street address), and a stranger let us in which gave us access to the foyer area. After our awful first night, it was still a lot of hassle to access the apartment because the keys we were given didn't work for the front door, only for the lower floor of the garage. So each time we came back to the apartment, we needed to go all the way to the bottom of the garage, and then get the lift up to the apartment. This is really longwinded and inconvenient. In fairness for the rest of the trip, the hosts did answer the phone to us when needed, and did try to provide us with alternative keys (though these also didn't work for the front door). I would suggest this could be easily solved by explaining the front door is no.7 in the...

This apartment is in a great central location. The city is a 15 min walk. The local area around the Apartment is even better and more authentic. Apartment has plenty of room, and stayed quite cool inside considering the out side temperatures.

Irene's place offers great value. It is centrally located in the heart of a busy plaza filled with cafes and restaurants that's bustling at night. Fun and lots of options right outside your door. (Though if you're an early sleeper, perhaps bring ear plugs). Beds and pull outs can comfortably accommodate a family. Irene responded to all our questions and issues promptly and had her cleaner Trini come by and resolve questions about stove and washing machine. Only suggestion would be for a better stocked kitchen; we would have appreciated a water kettle and a spatula. All in all, great stay and value.

O apartamento é bem arejado e iluminado, muito agradável mesmo. A vaga foi extremamente útil pra nós, que viemos de carro lá de Sevilha, e a garagem é bem segura. Foi bem fácil entrar em contato com a limpadora, que nos entregou as chaves e explicou tudo que precisávamos saber sobre o apartamento. Tivemos problema com wi-fi, que não funcionou enquanto estávamos lá (avisamos a proprietária, que não conseguiu resolver), mas se isso tiver sido resolvido eu recomendo. A vizinhança é bem movimentada, tem vários estabelecimentos comerciais (inclusive boas opções pra tapear) bem pertinho, e o acesso ao transporte público é super fácil.
