Beautiful converted steading with large pretty garden situated in the stunning Highlands amongst views of the Moray Firth and mountains.
The house sits in a tiny hamlet on a hill surrounded by farmland and forest, 5 miles south of Nairn’s famous sandy beaches and championship Golf courses.
Secluded but not isolated, it’s only 8 minutes drive from Nairn, 15 minutes from Inverness airport (and Castle Stewart Golf Course) and around 25 minutes from Inverness itself.
Set in a large and lovely, mature sheltered garden with outdoor seating area, flowering shrubs, fruit trees and herbaceous borders, this traditional stone built house is both spacious and cosy. It sleeps up to 6 people in 3 double rooms. All one floor, it has a large drawing room with piano and open fireplace, a beautiful conservatory with sitting area and dining table and wood stove, a well-appointed kitchen with Aga (electric cooker as well), a cosy sitting/TV room with a wood stove, a bathroom, a shower room, and a utility/mud room. It’s centrally heated and tastefully and comfortably furnished throughout.
The scenery around is beautiful and guests will find themselves comfortably surrounded by nature.
Parking for up to three cars, easy access to front door.
