Great location in the heart of Waikiki Beach, perfect for your family trip or friend gathering! Save big with this 2 bedroom, comfy condo that includes 1 parking space, pool, hot tub, and a very short and easy walk to Waikiki beach and restaurants. With 3 beds (King, Queen, Sofa-bed) your group can very comfortably sleep 4 adults + kids or up to 6 adults if they want to use the sofa-bed. Includes surfboard, beach gear, and everything else you need for an awesome vacation!

The space

It is a super easy 2 block, 8 min walk, to the very BEST part of Waikiki beach (the King Kamehameha statue). Many bars, restaurants, and the biggest grocery store in Waikiki are next door and walkable.

Save big compared to staying at a hotel. Why spend $500+ or more a night for two hotel rooms when you could stay in my 2 bedroom condo! Hotels also charge an arm and leg for parking at $40 a night, Wifi for $20 a night, plus eating out every meal, and you quickly see how my place is a huge bargain.

The apartment is a 2 bedroom, so it is very comfortable with decent privacy for 4 adults, plus or a kid or two! For those looking to sleep 6 adults, please be realistic, it will be a bit tight but many people have done it and been very happy with the savings compared to booking 2 or 3 separate hotel rooms.

The best part is, you can walk to everything! With an overall walk score of “ 87 – Very High" with a 100 out of 100 in the sub categories of Dining and Drinking, Shopping, Groceries, and Cultural / Entertainment you can easily walk to everything you will need from the front door of my apartment!

Also includes, at no additional cost, 1 covered parking space, very near the elevator.

The building amenities are great and include a pool deck with large hot tub, a small gym, and mens / womens hot sauna, plus a roof deck BBQ area for grilling and entertaining with an amazing ocean view.

The roofdeck is really a gem, you can also go up there on Friday night for a great view of the fireworks, which usually start around 7:30 or so. From the roof, you can also get a nearly unobstructed view of the ocean, diamond head, and the mountains right behind waikiki. Its a stunning view, and great place not just to BBQ but to hang out and relax.

Its an awesome unit you won't find a better deal. Price includes all taxes and fees etc. We pay our Vacation Rental and Transient Taxes!

Air Conditioning: There are two A/C units in the unit, one in the Master Bedroom, and one in the Living room. They are the portable types. Some people say they are loud but they work well.

Extra stuff: There is a hairdryer in the unit, as well as iron and ironing board. Some people forget about that until its too late, but we have it! I tried to think of all the little things that make a stay more comfortable. There are empty hangers in the closet, a luggage rack in the guest room, and plenty of (12) towels. One bath towel and one beach towel for each potential guest.

Filtered, cold, clean water available all the time: Since we got top of the line stuff, like my $3,000 GE Profile Fridge, you can enjoy clean water without buying bottles. It has a built in high quality water filter. The water out of the fridge tastes great. No need to buy bottled water (Again, saving you money compared to hotel living)! Plus, it also makes ice cubes with that filtered water, very convenient, just open the freezer and they are right there.

My place is really right near a major bus stop and multiple bus line as well. Public transportation, should you decide to go that way, is a snap! The main bus stop is right on Kuhio ave, 3 minutes walk from my place. The shuttles to Ala Moana and the convention center also stop there too, if thats where you need to head. Shuttles are a fixed $2, bus is $2.50. Bring change.

We are a fully licensed and 100% legal Honolulu Transient Accommodation, see our tax id. Many others are not.

Please read all the amenities carefully.

Sorry, we cannot accommodate early check-ins. There is no place to leave your bags until you check in, so you must prepare for that if you arrive before 4pm.

Q: Does your unit include parking?
A: Yes! 1 spot included with the price

Q: How many towels are included?
A: 2 For each guest: a white one for the shower and a blue or color towel for the pool or beach.

Q: Is there a washing machine? Or laundry room?
A: Yes! There is a laundry room on the 5th floor for guest use. They sell soap there as well in single serve sizes.

Q: Do you include bedding / sheets / pillows for the pull out couch?
A: Yes, a full set of bedding is included if you want to use the pull out couch.

Q: Can I check in early, before 4pm?
A: No, sorry. If you arrive early and want to go immediately to the apartment, please book one day early so you can go right there. I have many guests who do this and love the convenience, and its still way cheaper than a hotel.

Q: OK I can't check in early, but can I leave my bags somewhere?
A: Sorry there is nobody to take your bags. This is not a hotel. However, many people leave their bags at a small shop nearby on Kuhio ave, its $5 per bag / per day and they are open 10am to 8pm.

Q: Can I leave my bags in the apartment during cleaning if I have a later flight?
A: Sorry, again, that is not possible.

Q: Can we check out late?
A: Sorry, probably not. We usually have a very tight schedule and the cleaners are scheduled to come right around check out time (noon).

Q: Any discounts for a week (or more) stay?
A: If you are going to stay 10 days or longer, email me directly first and I will hook you up with a discount.

Q: I heard there was construction, is that done?
A: Yes it is all finished now and the building has a new beautiful pool deck, upgraded (but tiny still) gym, and a renovated BBQ area as well.

Q: Is the pool /hot tub still closed?
A: No, the pool is now open and ready for use! It was totally re-done last year. The only reason it may be closed now is for regular maintenance but all work is done.

Q: Is there a gym on site?
A: Yes there is, but it is very small. It has one bike and one universal weight machine. There is a separate key for the gym that is located in the apartment when you check in if you wish to use it.

Overall we had a nice stay in Aaron's apartment, it's a very nice well equipped and well located place. The bbq roof terrace is a nice bonus, and the check in check out process was very smooth. Unfortunately our stay happened to coincide with building construction on the floor directly above, meaning it was very noisy during the day. However if you aren't on a business trip it's unlikely you'll spend much time in doors and the construction is a temporary issue.

Aloha Tara, Glad you had a nice stay and so sorry about the construction issues! That will be over soon. Hope to welcome you back again sometime.

This was our second visit and time in this unit. We stayed slightly longer this time. The Unit is ideally placed for our requirements and has all you need as a base to enjoy Waikiki area. There was some structural work to the building ongoing when we arrived but it didn't affect our use or stay and was suspended over the Christmas holiday period. There was also a kettle this year for our decaf teas, and a dispenser for shampoo, shower gel and conditioner in the shower. Would certainly return.

When I arrived Aaron was not home and I didn't have his girlfriend (Angela)'s mobile phone, so check in was a bit tricky. Luckily I was helped by the building's cleaning woman who was very helpful and kind. After that, Angela was very kind, helping me settle in the room and making me feel at home. The flat is quite cool, the room is spacious and has everything you need, comfortable mattress, large wardrobe, and the Internet is super fast and very reliable. There is a large fan, possibly coming from an air-conditioned place, right in front of the window of the guest room, and it's always on; so if you are sensitive to noise and like quiet places you will probably need ear plugs (I wore ear plugs and noise-canceling headphones all the time when I was in the room, especially if I needed to work or sleep). The location is great, two minutes from Waikiki and very close to convenience stores as well as the big boutiques and big brand stores of Kalakua Avenue (some sort of Rodeo Drive transplanted in Honolulu). On the last day of my stay I met Aaron, back from a business trip, and had a great conversation with him, he seemed a very interesting guy. I would definitely recommend this place, great value for money.

Response from Aaron:
Hi Barbara, hope you enjoyed your stay and sorry you had trouble contacting us. For future guests reference, on the very first page of the house manual that you receive once you book, there is both my cell phone and Angela's cell phone provided for our guests. So if you don't get one of us, you can always reach the other. And of course, one of us is always waiting to receive our guests. As always, it is very important guests take time to read the house manual before their arrival which explains everything. As for the fan noise, I have no idea what that is as I guess I'm used to city living. But please keep in mind this is a city apartment, surrounded by other tall buildings, with their various noises as well as from the street. There is no fan or anything in front of the apartment or the window. There is a fan to use in the room if you wish, which can be turned on and off. Best, Aaron

We definitely enjoyed our 2 week stay in Aaron’s apartment. It was exactly as advertised and Aaron was a helpful and friendly host. The place was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was close to everything for shopping and sightseeing. Excellent location for all our needs and for helping our daughter move into a house just minutes walk away, whilst we were there, We enjoyed the view of mountains and the rainbows, and walks along the canal, which was far less crowded than the beachfront, New Years eve on the roof terrace was great. We missed out on using the pool facilities but maybe next time? We would highly recommend it there and would certainly stay again on our next trip to Hawaii. Mahalo

The condo was clean and the kitchen had modern appliances. The bathrooms were nice. The lanais was spacious and we enjoyed breakfast on it every morning. The bedrooms were small and one of them did not have a closet, so we had to live out of our suitcases. While the unit has air-conditioning, the policy is to turn it off when leaving, so it takes a while for the unit to cool down, if the weather is hot (which it was when we were there). Waikiki beach was within walking distance (several blocks away), but we were advised not to walk home late at night. The deck with the pool, hot tub, and grill was nice, though we never used it.

Location is awesome for exploring Waikiki and surrounding areas. The covered garage is great if you have a rental car. The beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas that came with the place was a huge plus. Would stay here again.

We had an awesome stay at Aarons place and would happily return. Great location in terms of being walking distance to the beach and the main Waikiki area.
