Forest Mill Cottage is a delightfully situated detached former mill resting on the banks of the upper reaches of the Monnow River at the foot of the Black Mountain.
If you require any combination of dates not showing as available please look up ‘forestmillholidaycottages’ and enquire further and please note that the price you see includes a 15.5% plus VAT commission that is payable to Airbnb.
The space
The kitchen/dining room is a stunning area with all mod cons, it is a great place to socialise with friends and family, whilst the sitting room is very cosy with a wood burner and open beams.
There are two bedrooms in Forest Mill Cottage the 'River Room' overlooking the Monnow, and the Hobbit Room with its quirky 'up and over' the beam access. The River Room has a wonderfully comfortable king size bed and luxurious bed linen. The Hobbit Room has a choice of twin beds or a super-king bed with luxurious bed linen.
Each bedroom has a comfortable full size single bed settee available for use when booked by 5/6 guests. These also have luxurious bed linen supplied.
When making a booking of four guests and under it will be assumed that the bed settees will not be required. Should you require the bed settee/s please note a charge of £25 per bed per night will be made (as if a 5th & 6th guest were coming, we apologise for this charge but have to cover laundry costs).

Forest Mill Cottage is fully self contained and private for just you to enjoy!
Entry is via your own driveway onto a generous parking area and fabulous newly landscaped large secure garden.
There are a number of garden steps to descend to the cottage and its great wrap around secure patio with several al fresco dining areas to choose from.
Other things to note
Upon booking we do ask that all guests provide us with full names of all the party members over the age of 16. For overseas guests/ non UK residents we require full names, passport numbers and address of onward destination. We respectfully ask that if you are NOT comfortable with providing this information you should enquire further BEFORE booking and we will provide further information and the legislation that requires us to gather this data.
Forest Mill Cottage is served by fresh filtered borehole water that is serviced and inspected annually by Herefordshire County Council.
Lastly please note; the cottage is wonderfully rural, with total peace and quiet this means the amenities of a town are some 7 miles away in Hay on Wye so do come prepared with food, toilet rolls etc!

Craswall is a very quiet village with friendly neighbours. We have two wonderful pub/restaurants approximately one and a half miles away in opposite directions. Also a local farm has themed food nights with produce from their own farm.
