Small house with Master BR up some rather steep stairs. Nice location. For the money, and paying a cleaning fee, plus having house rules to wash the linens, empty the trash before you leave, you are better off staying at a local hotel. Nothing special here for the price.

Response from Kalona:
We do ask that people start the first load of wash if possible and yes empty the trash which is just outside the front door on the way out. We also prefer and thoroughly enjoy guests that adhere to house access rules and refrain from being disrespectful.

We loved this house the moment we walked in. The decor is so cozy and the colors of the walls are fresh and bright. Everything was clean and well-stocked. The beds were super comfy and the house is in a quiet neighborhood. Kalona was great at communicating with us. Our daughter came over often during the week and hung out with us on the comfy couches. We could walk to the grocery store, and many restaurants are nearby. We walked to La Patron one night and to New Day bakery for breakfast. Our daughter will be moving to Portland for the next few years and we're sad that we won't be coming back to this house. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Communication was very easy and straightforward. Kalona set everything up so there were answers for basically any question a guest may have. The upkeep of the house along with all the amenities were just as described/shown in the listing. I would definitely stay here again on future visits to Eugene.

We absolutely loved this house in Eugene! It is centrally located in a safe neighborhood. We enjoyed relaxing on the back patio in the shade of all the greenery, as well as walking to nearby eateries. The house is very welcoming, and has pretty much all you need! We really enjoyed our stay here and would consider this again if in the area. Thanks Kalona!

About: I am an RN and Photographer here in the beautiful state of Oregon…Love to travel & crave the ocean and tropical weather. Spend as much time as possible in Jamaica and with family on Maui.

Why Eugene:
Growing up on the Oregon coast, Eugene was always the 'big city' for us:) I have always loved the mellow University town feel the Eugene has. Initially we had thought of purchasing a house further away from town….but having chosen this location, I couldn't be happier! It has the quiet neighborhood and wonderful neighbors, but with the ease of access to anywhere!

The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our location here is ideal! Having grown up in the country, it is a wonderful thing to be able to walk just down the street to Sweet Life for a cup of coffee, to the market or out for lunch. We frequently see concerts at MacDonald Theater and The Cuthbert, catch shows at the Hult Center and games at Autzen is wonderful to be within a few minutes of everything.
