Great location100% of recent guests gave this home’s location a 5-star rating.

Tŷ Capel Crannog was built in 1888 along with Capel Crannog and the vestry, which it sits between. We have spent a couple of years renovating, revealing a lot of original features such as fireplaces and tiled floors. The house is a traditional Welsh house built of local slate. It sits halfway up the side of the valley and is in full sun most of the day. It is five minutes' walk from the beach, but is secluded and private.

Thank you so much for our stay. Was lovely to have somewhere so clean and homely to sleep whilst visiting my grandparents. Breakfast options were wonderful and we felt comfortable to make ourselves at home. Greeted at every moment by the lovely Cymru which was the highlight of ou…

Lovely old house, great position and views, couple of minute’s walk to the dog friendly beach, pubs and cafés. Spotless, comfortable room, generous continental breakfast. Thanks Kat, hope to be back.

Kat's place: Great value, really comfortable bed, good sized room. And breakfast had everything we could want, real coffee, fresh berries (where the strawberries were at the very least local if not even home grown), cereals, yogurt, and bread. Not to mention private parking - onc…

Thanks for a lovely long review, so glad you had the chance to chill out here and found some of the best spots. I gather you are an academic so probably much-needed downtime! I am putting a motion sensing light in the hallyway so the resident trip-hazard doesn't surprise anyone else! Thanks for the idea and glad you didn't fall.

Thanks for providing a very comfortable stay in your characterful cottage to 2 walkers on the Coastal Path on a hot day. All we needed was there for us and great location in a beautiful village.

What a find! Kat was a wonderful host. We visited during a busy local festival and therefore didn't see much of Kat as she had an extremely busy weekend work-wise. However, directions were clear, communication was perfect, and instructions for checking in whilst Kat was at work w…

Thanks for such a lovely and detailed review! Yes, I do speak Welsh but sometimes get a bit shy with fluent speakers ;-) Best of luck with working on your house, I still have many things I want to do here. It's all worth it in the end.

Kat's house is in a great location, just a short walk down to the beach. Our room looked outover the pretty valley and the huge bed is really comfortable. It is a bit tricky to find and I forgot to write down Kat's directions and because there is no signal in the village (I'm on …
