This was a good value for the location - it was just a couple blocks away from the Fort Totten station (about 6 or so stops away from the heart of downtown DC). The place is small - we had three people during our stay and it was tight. The bed was comfortable, but the couch was not comfortable at all. The bathroom was spacious. It was sufficient for what we needed (a place to sleep after long days exploring downtown DC). The neighborhood was quiet.

This was me and my boyfriend's first airbnb and it was a great experience. The space is just as advertised and the host, while I did not meet her in person, was very kind, reasonably prompt with responding to communtication, and helpful. The metro passes and parking pass made it a much better fit for us than hotels and being able to make food in house saved so much money. The only tips I would give would be to make sure you get with the host about the parking pass in advance. Also, it is a basement apartment so it can be a little humid, you don't have control of the temperature, and the ceilings are a little low so just be aware of that if you're a taller person. Otherwise, it was perfect for our needs.

We stayed 4 nights, 2 adults and one 15 year old. I admit, I was hesitant to stay in a basement because I'm extremely claustrophobic. But this is such a cute space, with a great bathroom! There is a small window so you can see outside light, which totally made my claustrophobia a non-issue, plus leaving the basement doors to the outside open (leaving the screen door/outer door) closed). Nice patio out back where we were comfortable sitting to enjoy the outside and a couple beers end of evening. Best part is being a short couple blocks walk from a metro station. We felt totally safe in the area. So convenient! Great place to stay and we would absolutely stay here again if ever in the area. Super friendly and accommodating hosts!

Angela was a great host; she responded quickly to our concerns and made us feel welcome in her home. She went above and beyond in responding to any requests we had and we highly recommend staying with her!

We had great time in Angela's house. She is very easy to reach by Airbnb. The location is also great, close to subway. But the noise might be a little problem for some of the visitors. The air conditioner is loud and can not controlled from the basement. Because the room is in the basement, it smells a little moist. All in all, the price is vary reasonable, this trip is great!!

I had a great time staying here with Angela, Kevin and their children! I stayed for 3 months, the place was just as the pictures show. They were definitely above and beyond great hosts. I feel They weren't just hosts but friends to me, welcoming me and my family into their home. Thank you truly for the stay!!

Angela's place is exactly what is shown in the photos. Vibrant & comfortable for the two of us. The place was well equipped, it do feels like home. We love that there is a washer & dryer. Her place is about 5-8 minutes walk to the metro station (Fort Totten) during day as you can use the path by the park as a shortcut. The park is dark during nighttime so we walked another extra 5mins to get to her place. We would love to stay here again if we are ever in DC. Thanks Angela. Best regards, Diyana & Halim
