No George Foreman grill here! This is a full home, with a full kitchen and full driveway in a great, central location. Our charming, solar-powered house has many tech comforts and environmentally-conscious features. We are on the West Side and near everything: Boardwalk, UCSC, downtown, famous surf spots, Wilder Ranch... You can walk/bike to so many interesting places - enjoy Surf City. Park in our big driveway! 11% Occupancy Tax paid separately.

This is not an apartment/studio/cottage, it's an actual house with a yard!

Cozy, light, airy home blocks from west cliff with Queen bed and full+single bunkbeds. A place for families, couples and mellow getaways. Modern home set up with SONOS sound system (master bedroom, living room, and deck). Living room has flatscreen with ROKU. Second bedroom has flatscreen with AMAZON TV, and powerful desktop computer. Bathroom recently remodeled. Green features: 28 Solar panels, 1100 gallons of rain barrels, compost, electric car charger, ultra low-flow toilet, drought resistant yard. tankless water heater, LED bulbs throughout, energy-efficient appliances.

Ou home has nice light, fully equipped kitchen, gas oven and heat, washer/dryer, wireless internet, big flat screen TV. Brand new Tuft & Needle (Queen) bed in master bedroom. SleepMaster Memory Foam Therapeutic mattresses in guest room. All beds have the Sleep Defense System. Sunny backyard with gas BBQ. If you drive an electric car, charger in driveway! All that you would expect to be in a home is available for you to use (hair dryer, etc, etc). NOTE: gorgeous new backyard deck currently under construction and will be completed by April 2017!

Quiet family friendly street, but only a block from Mission street, downtown, beach, Kelly's bakery, Surf City Vintners (10+ wine tasting rooms in one complex), great restaurants, CVS, natural foods store, Safeway, CVS and more. University is just up the hill. Take the bus: it stops only 100 yards away. Steamer Lane and Cowells are close by.

This is a home for mature guests and not the place for partying college students. If you have little ones, we can provide a brand new Pack&Play and High Chair. Pet and allergy free.

IMPORTANT NOTE - The city collects an 11% Occupancy tax. We are forced to collect this separately - sorry for the inconvenience but there is no alternative. It's the same tax charged by hotels. We remit this tax to the city at the end of every month.

We have a wonderful tenant who lives in the studio out back. It's a separate residence and should have zero affect on you. She's a school teacher like us, and is super nice. Most likely, you'll never meet her.

Lovely house located in a nice part of Santa Cruz, close to very cute stores. We had a very pleasant stay with my family for christmas. The house is very green with solar panels and electric car charger. Even on vacations the host was very responsive and helpful with our enquiries.

Jared and Nelly were amazing hosts. They are warm, communicative, and trustworthy people who accommodated a group of bridesmaids to stay in their house for their best friend's wedding weekend. The house was cute, clean, and wonderful. A central location in Santa Cruz, this was the perfect place to spend Labor Day weekend. I think the most striking element about Jared and Nelly was their quick communication and their kindness. I would highly recommend staying here and I can't express how much them sharing their home with us meant on such a special weekend. If you're looking for the perfect home for a weekend getaway, this is the spot to be. Thank you again for everything, it was truly magical. Much appreciated!!!

Jared and Nelly made us feel welcomed immediately! They are very responsive even when on their honeymoon! Their home is clean and they are super organized. The entire trip was easy and went smooth.

Great place to spend few days, nelly and Jared made the checking in and out very easy despite being out of town. Good comfortable beds and fitted in the 5 of us with 2 children sharing the double. Nice walk through the Neary lagoon downtown and v close to Safeway which was handy.

Although I did not get to meet Jared and Nelly they were really good about keeping in contact with me throughout my stay. The home was well kept and the neighbors were very welcoming.

My family had a great stay at Jared and Nelly's place. The location was perfect for us (close to restaurants and beaches/Boardwalk). Jared and Nelly were wonderful hosts and we would stay here again!

We are both teachers in the area. We feel fortunate to call Santa Cruz our hometown. There are many outdoor activities to explore and enjoy within walking distance from our home. Jared enjoys playing tennis around the corner at Neary Lagoon, and Nelly takes advantage of the beautiful scenery while running from home to Wilder Ranch or Natural Bridges State Park. Jared has spent the last year updating the house, and now we have the time to begin focusing on planning trips to places we’d love to experience. We both love to travel and are familiar with being foreign to what a community has to offer, so we are happy to share what we love about this region with you.
