The space
The lower level bath area in the basement is very nice, but is not a "room" unto itself, but a section of the basement--see photos. There is a door at the top of the stairs for privacy.
Newly finished red oak hardwood floors throughout house (except upstairs bathroom and kitchen). There is no bathroom on the main floor.
All 3 bedrooms are upstairs and are corner rooms with 2+ windows for abundant natural light.
Large living room with natural wood-burning fireplace and big screen 55" HDTV.
Totally remodeled, fully equipped, modern kitchen (2021). Connected dining room with large table for 6.
All amenities provided: toiletries, towels, bed linens, etc.
Private on-site parking.

Beautiful well-maintained quiet historic neighborhood with tall oak and maple trees with professional landscape maintenance. Most homes are constructed from all brick or native stone and built in the 30's and 40's. We have the most Fantastic Neighbors.

Brian & Jennifer split their time between their home in Scottsdale, AZ and Alton, IL, where Jennifer grew up. We have a lot of family living in Alton (Mattson, Gates, Monical, Rockholm), not to mention a ton of friends, which is why we have a 2nd home there. Since we can't be there all the time, we decided to share the experience of living in a wonderful 1935 historic home in one of the best residential neighborhoods in the area (with the best neighbors too!) (Physically located in Godfrey at the Logan Street gate to Fairmont, but an Alton mailing address).

We travel a lot ourselves, so we know what it means for a guest to have a great place to stay with all of the attention by the host paid to details, amenities, cleanliness and comfort.....just like we would want it!
