Our home is on a quiet, wooded lot but is close to restaurants, shopping, and a national park. Roam around the shaded lot, sip coffee on the screened-in porch, and have a good night's rest while you are away from home.
When you are here you'll be part of the family. Whether you need quiet time to work, want to explore nearby Kennesaw Mountain National Park, or just need rest, you are welcomed to make yourself at home with us.
This room shares a single bathroom with a shower and tub.
Please feel free to park in the circular drive. I will text you a door code the day you arrive if I am not onsite to greet you.
We don't wear our outside shoes in the house, so please remove your shoes when you arrive.
Feel free to use the screen porch, sunroom, and outdoors. Your room comes stocked with water, coffee, fruit, and continental breakfast items for the mornings. Feel free to come down to fill up the ice bucket. Our washer and dryer are available to you if needed, just let us know and we'll show you where everything is.
Interaction with guests
I teach in the afternoons and evenings but I'm usually home during the daytime and can assist you with whatever you need. Please feel free to text or call me for anything you'd like help with.
Other things to note
Our space is open and cheerful. We border Kennesaw Mountain National park so it's a quick drive over to the entrance for hiking and running trails.
Sometimes it is hard to see our home from the street. We have a crosswalk for the elementary school in part of our yard and our driveway is flanked by festive lion statues sporting Cubs jerseys from time to time :-)
Alfredo (the white poodle) and Wrigley (the black poodle) are inside doggies and will treat you just like one of their humans! They don't shed, so they shouldn't trouble your allergies. They are really friendly but it's no problem if you'd like us to keep them out of your way. Just let us know.
Please leave your shoes at the door when you come in.
Please try not to allow doggies to sneak out for adventures :-)
Parties or events may be allowed and must be approved with hosts prior to booking.
