Looking for somewhere close to the action, but not right in it? Our place offers a quiet spot with a cozy garden, a 10-minute bus ride from downtown, universities, and hospitals. We are on a tree-lined residential street with lots of free on-street parking. Shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.
There is a breakfast nook with small fridge, toaster, and coffee maker. Simple breakfast supplies are provided.
Guests are welcome to share our courtyard garden, right outside your door - a peaceful spot to unwind at the end of a busy day.
Interaction with guests
Our space offers privacy, with a separate entrance, but we live right upstairs and are happy to help orient you to the neighbourhood, or to the city.
- Quiet hours after 10 pm.
I have lived in Halifax most of my life and consider myself a proud Maritimer. As a host, I am proud to help visitors discover all the good things there are to enjoy in this neck of the woods. But I also believe adventure needs to be balanced with quiet time, so we try to keep our space restful and private.
I also love to travel. Between my husband and me, we have been to China, Mauritius, Australia, Germany, Poland, France, England, India, the Caribbean, and various parts of the US. We hope one day to do a coast-to-coast-to-coast cross-Canada tour.
As a host, I hope to meet people from diverse places, perspectives, and experiences. Our space is LGBTQ friendly.
