Brand new, modern, well-appointed 1 bedroom duplex. The unit is ideal for a couple and sleeps up to 4 adults. Fully equipped if traveling for work or leisure. We have a perfect location with ocean views and very near to beaches and Princeton Harbor. The duplex is bright with lots of natural light in all rooms. There is a full kitchen, living room and bathroom downstairs. Upstairs is a loft bedroom and toilet and sink. There are full ocean views in the living room, kitchen and bedroom.

The space

We are ideally located right off Highway 1. There can be traffic accessing Half Moon Bay most weekends and with many things to do, see and eat in walking distance…you don’t need to get back in your car. We are located in El Granada, close to Half Moon Bay and very close to the Princeton Harbor (bars, restaurants, activities, and some shops). You can also walk to to a yoga studio, brand new gourmet grocery store, the ocean and several beaches including the internationally known, Mavericks.
There are full ocean views in the living room, kitchen and bedroom. The duplex is bright with lots of natural light in all rooms.
This is a very quiet neighborhood where the sound of the fog horn and distant ocean waves crashing might seem a bit loud amongst all the quiet. We are a family of 3—two adults and a one teen age son.
Please note, the steps to the bedroom are very, very steep. See photo for further details.

We contacted Doug and Julie as our reservations at Santa Rosa were cancelled due to the wildfires. Doug and Julie responded immediately and we were so glad their home was available for the dates we wanted. Great location, very private and clean. They are available if you need to contact them but if not, they leave very accurate instructions on how to check-in. We loved our 3 days here and wished we could have stayed longer.

We really enjoyed our stay with Doug and Julie! We were scheduled to stay two days in napa, however due to the fires we made a last minute reservation here and were very glad we did. It is a beautiful location with many amenities and super close to the beach. Only downside is the fog horn that goes off every few seconds, but it's not too loud. Would stay here again!

We stayed at Doug&Julie's for 4 days. Their place is super close to the beach and many other places on the California state route one. The place also has many thoughtful ammenities. You sould definitely consider staying at here!
