If you are looking for a large place for a group this is perfect! My husband and I stayed here on our way to Galena and there was SO much space! Chad and Moriah’s place was very clean and was everything we expected. It’s definitely in a quiet area, but so close to Galena! We actually drove to Galena for dinner while we stayed! Highly recommend!

What a great home--beautiful, clean, spacious, and close to the Galena area. A gem.

This is a cool and spacious house that retains much original interior features while still being comfortable. Beds were really good, some of the other furniture is a bit shabby. Hosts are great communicators and really on top of things, they jumped on and fixed a small problem with the WiFi, for example. Highly recommend staying here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was exceptionally clean and well-modernized. Communications was clear and straightforward. Hanover was a lovely retreat on our trip to the Galena area. We marveled at the clear night sky and can't wait to return!

My high school friends and I spent the day in Galena and wanted a place to stay where we could all be together. The home was ideal as the kitchen, dining room and living room provided comfortable spaces for us to gather in the evening and before we left in the morning. The home was warm and welcoming, had fun personality and was very clean.

We (family of 6) had a great time at Chad and Moriah's place. It was impeccably clean and in great shape and my wife loved it so much she didn't even want to go out. The master bead was very comfortable and relaxing. There's a nice back porch to sit out on or grill; all the bedrooms and living spaces are spacious and there were even a couple of toys that my girls spent the whole weekend playing with. It's in a great location if you are visiting the Galena area and looking for something out of town. We enjoyed exploring the back country roads (saw an owl!) and the Mississippi region all the way up to Dubuque. Very nice place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and greatly appreciated the family-friendly accommodations. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, glasses, bowls, etc which is a lifesaver with small children. The washer/dryer was also wonderful to have during our stay. As for cleanliness, it was top notch and they had wonderful creature comforts, including a beautiful vintage piano. Great access to Chestnut Mountain and all the sites of Galena and Dubuque.
