Lovely cosy clean cottage. Very close to three chimneys so great to walk there. Good communication from Jeni before we arrived. Great breakfast!

Jeni's cottage is perfect, everything has been done to a very high standard and was fully equipt (as well including some nice touches which were a bonus). We loved our trip, and enjoyed the peace and the views from above the loch. Jeni was really helpful and friendly too.

The Cottage is a lovely one bedroom property in a remote rural part of Skye, about 10 to 15 mins drive from Dunvegan. It has an elevated position up from the road so you have a nice view out over the surrounding area. The cottage is well kitted out and in excellent condition and there is parking at the bottom of the steps from the cottage. The roads in the area are predominantly single track with passing places, so take this into account when planning journey times as Skye is a very busy place in the summer. The photo's on AirBnB are very accurate and depict the property very well. Jeni is a friendly host and explained everything well for our stay. I'm with 3 Mobile UK and I got 2 bars mobile signal, but no data connection. I could make calls though, not that it mattered as I put my mobile in Airplane mode for the duration of my visit to Skye, as I was here to 'get away from it all!'. I won't say anything about Skye itself, as there is a wealth of info online. Suffice to say though Skye is second only to the NC500 for a road trip, and every Scottish person has to visit the island at least once in their life. One final comment: bring insect repellent! I didn't, which was a mistake as the infamous West Highland Midge was very prevalent.

This is a superb little cottage with everything you need for a few days away. It's very remote and peaceful and the views will blow you away. I would recommend staying here 100%.

The setting is beautiful. There is a lot of wildlife all around. The rabbits are great fun to watch, but the crows are noisy and pester to be fed. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay in good or bad weather. Jeni provided a very generous amount of food and goodies.

Response from Jeni:
Thanks for this and glad you enjoyed your stay.We are trying to deter the crow.Apparently pecking at window reflection is a common problem with crows and there are special anticrow devices which have been ordered and should be fitted tomorrow!

Absolutely gorgeous cottage in a scenic location. Jeni was a great host and provided more than enough for a relaxed getaway. Easy to find, very comfortable bed, and a really good bathroom. Great movie selection, ample breakfast food and even a loud speaker for your own music. Jeni has really thought of the small things and it made our stay just perfect.
