Halibut Hole Cabin is a cozy place with am amazing location. Watching the waves and feeling the ocean breezes was so blissful. The wood stove to heat water for our showers worked well. Cooking be was easy. I would love to visit again.

We were looking for a place that felt like camping but offered more. This place is it. To start, the view!!! You can't beat the view!!! You were feet away from the Strait of Juan De Fuca and were constantly blessed with the sound of the crashing waves against the shore and rocks. So awesome! We got amazing views of the sunrise and sunset. We had a fire going every night in the fire pit outside and just enjoyed the view. The cabin itself is pretty cute. Be advised there is no electricity but the cabin had a couple lanterns you could light up and use. The kitchen was well equipped to handle cooking. You will need to start a fire inside the cabin using the fire stove provided if you want hot water for showers. Easy to do and warms up fast. The upstairs loft has a bed but we did not stay up there as is smelled a little smokey plus we had an infant we didn't want to carry up in down the steep stairs. It did look really cool up top and had cool views too. This is a very quiet and peaceful get away and was close to all the major hikes and locations we visited in the Olympic National Forrest. Again, this place was awesome and we would recommend it!!!! THE VIEWS!!!!

Cozy hideout away from the rest of the world. If you enjoy camping and the outdoors, this cabin is for you! The wood heat inside was so wonderful and it was fun to have a little campfire outdoors. You can't beat the view of this location! Its simply, picturesque Pacific Northwest.

Amazing setting and wonderfully simplistic cabins. Located a matter of feet from the sea these cabins are wonderful offering the most amazing views, sunsets, sunrises and the bald eagles fishing in the sea right outside. The cabins are very simple but so appropriate for the setting. We spent very little time in the cabin as eating, sitting by the fire pit, playing with the kids can be done outside in very close proximity. Low tide was so much fun for the kids to explore the tide pools in the wave cut platform. Communication and check in was really easy and there is nothing I would change at all. I really hope we can return one day, it really is one of those places you have to visit once, and if you have visited once you have to go back! Tim and Racheal also put on a great July 4th fireworks display. Thank you for some great memories!

Tim and Rachael's cabin was truly wonderful. Just outside of Port Angeles, down a private road, you'll find Halibut Hole. 10 feet from the water with views of Victoria Island, I though it was a perfect location to explore the peninsula and visit Port Angeles. It's also only 2.5 hours from Seattle which made easily accessible from the airport. Thank you Tim and Rachael, hope to stay there again.
