This place is great, and exactly how it is described and looks in the pictures. The location is great, 1 train is on the corner, A train 10 minutes. Nice mix of Riverside Drive, Washington Heights, and Harlem. Great diversity, great mix of funky new restaurants and long time community.

I absolutely loved this place! Cozy 1 bedroom that really feels like home away from home. I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself!

Staying here was amazing! Everything was exactly as described and more. Also, Sherry and her assistant Indi went above and beyond! When I arrived, Indi showed me around and then took the time to walk with me to the nearest grocery store. Then, when I had an issue with connecting to wifi, Sherry herself drove over to walk me through it! And she is delightful! She texted often to make sure I was doing okay. This was my first ever trip to NYC. The subway station #1 line at 145th is literally 500 yards from the front door and will take you into Times Square in 20-30 minutes. Penn Station is also a stop. The beautiful Riverbank park is literally across the street and you could throw a rock at it if you had a really great arm :) Also, very safe. I even went to get water at 11pm and had zero issues about safety. You literally can walk in any direction within a few blocks and have every kind of food, grocery, salons, shopping (but not Madison Ave kind of shopping, but still really cool!). I would say that you would have a very "local NYC" experience here because nothing is super fancy, but I love this neighborhood! The architecture, the people...I can't wait to stay here again. There is a robust coffee maker, a kettle for hot water, no dishwasher but beautiful glassware and dishes and a full sized fridge. The shower is cool, because it has a little bay if you want to take a bath - it's not full-sized but big enough if you're a regular person and need to have a bit of a soak. The wifi works better from the table than the couch. My friends who live in NYC says it's normal that connectivity is that weird. The couch is really comfortable. The beds are comfy too! I also learned from my NYC friends that by New York City standards, this place is huge. Thank you so much Sherry! I can't wait to come back.

The apartment was very clean, spacious, and exactly as pictured. It was absolutely perfect for our short stay. Our host was very communicative and she made the check-in and check-out process seamless. During our stay, Sherry checked in on us daily via text to make sure we have everything we needed. Furthermore, the location of the apartment was 1-2 blocks away from a couple of subway stations/metro so it was super convenient to just catch a ride and explore Manhattan. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Sherry's place and would not hesitate to book again with her.

Sherry goes above and beyond the duties of AirBnB hosts as far as looking after the guests. This is great if you are unfamiliar with NYC. The apartment is very nice with beautiful art. The high-powered air-conditioning was a godsend in the summer. The area is fantastic with awesome stuff in walking distance and accessibility to all the major subways.
