Fitted with all the conveniences of home, Forever Views Lakefront has a full kitchen with stove/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pan, and more. Gather the family around the large dining table that comfortably seats 10. There is additional seating at the breakfast bar for 3 more. Wander out onto the expansive deck to fantastic lake views, propane BBQ and patio furnishings. Almost every room in this spacious Lakefront has incredible views of the lake.

Our Lakefront homes usually require a 3 night stay during the summer months. For reservations less than 3 nights, please call to inquire.

No indoor smoking is permitted.
Due to the California drought, our lake level has dropped significantly, therefore our Lakefront properties are now considered Lakeside.

There are a few things to take note of when booking a cabin on Airbnb through our company.
The homes we offer are privately owned, we are a Vacation Rental Management Company, Big Bear Cool Cabins.
Trash Removal will be your responsibility, this is a city ordinance we have no control over, and there are Clean Bear Sites available. You will be provided with the addresses after booking. We offer a service to pick up the trash for you, but there is a fee because we are required to pay an employee to pick it up and also pay any dump related fees (as we are not allowed to use the Clean Bear Sites)
City Ordinances require us to collect a signature, in person, on the Guest Code of Conduct. The terms outlined in this document are also stated in the House Rules. Check-in will be at our office.
Please contact us BEFORE booking if you are under the age of 21, there will be a security deposit required, or you may elect to purchase damage insurance for your reservation.
Please keep in mind Vacation Rental Properties endure heavier traffic and more abuse than an average home. While we do everything in our power to provide a clean and comfortable space for your vacation, we are also limited in some ways, and cannot promise absolute perfection.
Each property is individually owned. Amenities are listed to the best of our current actual knowledge, without the duty of inquiry or investigation, but not guaranteed. Photos are taken when the home becomes a part of our program and updated when possible, there is no guarantee the property will look exactly the same as the photos. Changes are possible without notice and will not qualify for compensation. We encourage homeowners to approve or complete necessary repairs as soon as possible. However, things like; carpet cleaning, yard work, and cosmetic repairs are commonly scheduled during the offseason, allowing more time to complete the work before the next guest checks in. If there is anything we should be aware of, or if you have a concern for safety please contact us immediately. We welcome and appreciate any feedback provided and will always make an attempt to make it right however possible, within reason.
Each property is licensed to accommodate a maximum number of people/vehicles day or night. Extra people are not allowed.
While we make every effort to accommodate check in at 4 pm and often times earlier, check in time is not guaranteed, you will be allowed to check in when Housekeeping and Maintenance is complete.
You are required to carry tire chains in your vehicle when traveling in mountain communities in the state of California during winter months. We are not able to help if your car becomes stuck for liability reasons. Snow Removal is the guests’ responsibility. During winter storm weather there may only be parking for 1 car, public parking is available and provided by the City of Big Bear Lake. Decks, porches, BBQ's and/or Hot Tubs may be snowed in depending on how much snow any given storm produces. Shoveling may be required to gain access to the cabin. A snow shovel will be provided, if you are unable to find a shovel please contact us so we may deliver one (because they break and go missing often).

Tenants understand that Big Bear Cool Cabins, Inc., its owners, employees and the homeowners (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are NOT responsible for any injury caused by slipping on snow or ice and that the tenants are responsible for the removal of snow and ice around the doorways and paths to house and car; that the Released Parties are not responsible for any personal injury or loss or damage to the tenants’ persons or property or to their guests and that the tenants assume the risk to their persons and property caused directly or indirectly from foul, inclement weather conditions, acts of nature, failure of heat, accidents related to fire, heaters, stoves, or hot tubs, tenants’ failure to remove snow and ice around access areas; for any unforeseeable circumstances. Under no circumstances will the tenants or their guests hold the Released Parties responsible for any damages or claims of any kind resulting from their stay. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
No refunds will be made for circumstances beyond our control, acts of nature, or weather-related problems. If all 3 access roads to and from Big Bear are closed for more than 4 hours at the same time, then you may re-schedule your stay for another time in the same home, you will have to pay the price difference if the price is higher.
Big Bear Cool Cabins, Inc. reserves the right to substitute like accommodations if for some reason the home becomes inhabitable or leaves our program. You will be notified and offered other accommodations, we understand each vacation has different needs so if the alternate property doesn’t satisfy your needs and you choose not to stay, you will be granted a full refund once you initiate cancellation.
Any filming and/or photography to be used for commercial use is prohibited unless all the proper authorizations and permits are obtained. Big Bear Cool Cabins, Inc. and homeowner must be notified of intent and copies of signed permits must be provided prior to check in. Additional security deposit may be required.
Disturbing the peace is an ordinance violation. Please keeps noise to a minimum, including children playing loudly, parties and any other loud activities, between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
ANY VIOLATION OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT BY ANYONE IN YOUR PARTY CAN RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION OF EVERYONE, WITHOUT REFUND OF RENTS AND POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL CITY IMPOSED FINES.
As a part of your stay, you may purchase a Vacation Rental Damage Protection plan designed to cover unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. If you are under the age of 21, you will be required to purchase Vacation Rental Damage Protection or pay a cash deposit at check-in, whichever you prefer.

Cool Cabins originally got its start in 1998 by the Armstrong family who lived in a small town in the High Desert. They began with only three cabins and worked out of their basement in the family home. As time progressed they began to start accumulating homes by word of mouth. Cool Cabins now has over forty employees (all locals) and currently manages over 300 properties both in Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead with more and more joining us every day. We've been lucky enough to meet and accommodate thousands of vacationers and create relationships with hundreds of homeowners and associates.
Today Cool Cabins is run as a tight knit company, which is the way it has been since the beginning. We believe in hard work, dedication, follow-through, and most of all we believe in the quality of our service as well as our homes. We prefer to think of ourselves as a stepping stone for our guests to make memories with their loved ones, in one of the most beautiful cities in California and possibly the world. We want our guests to always remember the time they came to Big Bear or Lake Arrowhead with the family, stayed in an awesome cabin, the times they went skiing, the times Grandpa took them fishing and so on and so forth.
