Good place which is an ideal spot between the port and old town. Nice little place with a basic kitchen and terrace.

The apartment is excellent for a short stay, focused on exploring Dubrovnik, eating out and just spending the night in the apartment.

We were welcomed by an old friendly lady who showed us the surroundings. The apartment is very well placed, at the top of a staircase so very quiet. The old town is 10min walk and the beaches also. The interior is very clean, refurbished, air-conditioned, the terrace is very nice in the morning and evening! We met Nikola, the son of the lady who welcomed us, who knows her city and its history perfectly, as well as that of other countries in passing! A nice apartment that I would recommend if you want to enjoy Dubrovnik.

We did not hear from the host at all prior to the day of check-in. When check-in day came we messaged the host several times and did not hear back until 11pm so by that time we had booked a hotel room because we thought we were stranded. The room is quite difficult to find considering the address given is not the correct one. When we finally found the home he said they had been calling my phone all day but my phone does not work for calling while abroad. Confused why he didn't check his AirBnb messages if I was not answering phone calls.. The place itself is clean small and very basic. There is a bit of a smell in the bathroom and the kitchen is limited but more or less has all the basics you need for a short stay. There is also a yummy pizza place close by that was very welcoming to us while we were waiting on a reply!

Response from Daria & Family :) Welcome:
Daer Gina, your cell phone was not working and you called me from phone of local pizza place and once I called back waiter answered my call. Also once you book on airbnb you receive address with map on your invoice and you can find the location very easy. If you did not know how to use airbnb or gps you could have asked me help with directions or anything else. My best from Dubrovnik.

Daria & Family :) Welcome User Profile

I graduated at Faculty of law in Split, University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zagreb (MBA in finance and banking), Libertas international university (Masters in international relations and diplomacy) and before the university I attended Gimnasium Dubrovnik 06/07.

What really makes me happy is to work with my family as a host and in tourism during the season :) . It is a great opportunity to meet various people .

And even though all hosts of private accommodations are not professionals , me and my family are striving by working together , cooperating and learning to achieve high level of service .
I strive to be very professional and accurate in everything I do , so as in being a host with my family , it is not easy but we do our best and learn a lot along the way .

PLEASE READ FURTHER :)

From experience the best would be to do like this : If you decide to book , please let me know if you are arriving with a car , bus or from airport so that I can send you directions to the apartment in details , also it would be good , if you book the accommodation , that you send me your email address so that I could send you a map with marked location and coordinates .
If you are coming prior to the check in time let me know so that I can be ready and that I can help you with luggage until the apartment is prepared or that I arrange the cleaning lady earlier ( if the guests before you leave before theirs check out time ) and prepare the apartment earlier for you .

I encourage you to ask anything that you would like to know before you make booking .

On the arrival I or one of my dear family members will wait for you , help you to settle in and provide you maps of local area and some useful advises .
I am always available to come if you need my assistance and via cell phone and email and my family members as well .
For sure , since I also travel , I must mention that it is good to explore little bit on your own about the area you are visiting ( as lots of people were surprised that there are stairs in Dubrovnik , and they did not checked the fact that Dubrovnik is built under a hill :) )
We very much respect guests privacy and of course the guests needs to respect some house rules like in hotel .

In addition :) I love animals , I am a vegetarian , I believe in world peace and I love Dubrovnik as it is so relaxing town and I hope you will love it as much as I .
My family is very professional , hearty and helpful .

Honest best wishes ,
Your potential hosts ,
Daria & family
