We live in a cosy home surrounded by a well-established garden with a local tui that can be heard throughout the day. We love having friends around for lunches and our home has a relaxed, creative vibe. The bedroom is built on the sunny side of the house and overlooks the garden. Dine inside or out, and enjoy a quiet suburban street. If you require an additional Queen bedroom please view our other listing for this house " sun drenched queen bedroom in cosy creative home"
With Rotorua being the home of Crankworx we are centrally located between both the famous Whakarewarewa Forest [Redwoods] mountain bike and Skyline Gravity mountain bike trails. A large garage, which is alarmed at all times, can be used by guests to store sporting equipment, excess luggage etc. We are a short five minute drive to the center of town if you want to visit some hot pools.
As a guest you are welcome to use the kitchen, lounge, dining (inside and out), bathroom and garage.
Interaction with guests
We love meeting people and look forward to sharing stories over a cup of tea or a glass of wine. As a guest we would like you to make yourself at home and enjoy your time in Rotorua. We can share with you our own experiences here, and provide information on the multitude of ways to immerse yourself in our distinctive culture. We both work weekdays but look forward to meeting our guests in the evenings to hear about your adventures here in Aotearoa
Other things to note
We are happy to recommend our favorite restaurants and local "to do's". We may even have time in our busy schedule to show any mountain bikers staying with us our favorite trails. Creatives will also enjoy exchanging artistic ideas ,experiences and a love of art. We have a compendium with maps and a wide variety of information for travelers to Rotorua and places of interest nearby.
Guests are asked to be courteous and keep noise down before 7am and after 9pm.
