Nicest AirBnB I have stayed in. Very friendly host and impeccable accomodation! Just unfortunate my travel was for work and I could not enjoy the grounds of the property to their fullest. I will definitely be back!

Thank you for a lovely review. Hope to meet up with you some time soon in the future. There are some lovely walks around Tall Pine Lodge in the beautiful preserved Scottish Heritage woods with the old Caledonia Pines and hidden Cranloch.

Marie and Graham were the most fantastic and accommodating hosts, from the moment I enquired about booking until the moment we left, I rarely find people so willing to help, as this amazing duo were. They're available if needed but pretty much leave you to your own devices the entire time. Myself and a group of female friends visited here and returned literally a day ago. We wanted to just get away from the metropolis of London for a few days and relax in beautiful settings and this is just what Tall Pine Lodge offers, gorgeous views and serene countryside. The lodge is finished to such a high standard, the decor and the furnishings are all very tasteful and excellent quality too and the entire lodge was absolutely spotless, not even a speck of dust; so much so that we felt as if we were the first people to have ever stayed there, although after reading the guest book, we realised that Marie and Graham have been hosting since 2011. They have not left a single stone overturned in the facilities available at the lodge, you literally feel like you are in your home away from home, honestly, everything you could expect to find in your home, you will here. Before arriving, we had plans every day to do something but found we spent a lot more time at the lodge than we originally thought we would as we loved it so much. I literally have nothing negative to say about this place and hope to come back here sometime in the future.

Dear Parbina and friends Thank you so much for such a wonderful review. You were perfect guests and we loved meeting you all. Graham and I do want all our guests to have a wonderful time at Tall Pine Lodge and exploring the beautful countryside and the part of the world we live in. I saw dolphins today when I was playing golf at Nairn and they were flying out the water so close to the beach. It was fantastic. I love living where we are.

We found Tall Pine Lodge to be an excellent holiday base. We got a warm welcome from Marie and Graham when we arrived along with chocolates, crisps and bottle of Prosecco. The Lodge is modern and well equipped with all you need to keep you and the family entertained, with wifi, DVD's, board and card games. Relaxation is made easy with 2 lounge areas and a jacuzzi bath, and the kitchen is fabulously stocked. Allowing us to entertain some friends who had driven to meet us for the day and stayed for tea before heading home. Outside there are local forest trails that can be enjoyed on foot or by bike from the bottom of the garden. And there is so much to do in the local area that we only scraped the surface. There is ample parking for cars and a storage shed available too for keeping bikes in and also storing lots of outdoor games for kids to use and a BBQ. Nearby Nairn and Forres have all the shops you need to cater for a holiday with family. One slight drawback is there is very limited mobile signal in the lodge, but with wifi available that meant other calling methods such as FaceTime or wifi calling are available so arranging meet ups with local friends wasn't an issue for us. All in all a great place to stay and one we would definitely consider again as a base to visit friends and see the things we missed this time, and we'd also recommend to others definitely.

I've stayed in a lot of Airbnb places and this sits firmly in my favourites list. The lodge is beautiful. It has great facilities and the beds are super comfy. It has everything you could ever need in the kitchen and great lounge with a fireplace. The upstairs bedroom is 5* hotel worthy and the bathrooms are really well fitted and spacious. Great water pressure too. The internet connection is actually pretty good. We were able to stream Netflix without any trouble. The owners are probably the nicest people ever. They had bought us milk, sugar, tea, coffee, biscuits, crisps and even a bottle of bubbly for our anniversary. They were so genorous and helpful, but also gave us our space and time. They live further down the lane and are on hand to help at any time. The area is great. It's a 15/20 minute drive to the airport and only a 5 minute drive to Nairn town centre. Yet you cannot hear a plane or car or anything for that matter while you're at the lodge. Perfectly peaceful. There are 120 hectares of woodland to walk through. We spent 4 hours walking in there and met no one. The Cairngorms National Park is about a 45 minute drive and has some of the most stunning scenery around. It also a fantastic drive if you take the back roads. There is genuinely nothing negative I can say about this place. I will definitely be coming back for a visit *****

Hi, I am Marie. I was born in Edinburgh, and now live in the Highlands, which I love. I have twin girls who are 30, and have a grandson William, 18months. I married Graham in 2009 and live at Maviston. We built the holiday lodge in 2011 on the farm. I have always been sporty and in my younger years water skied at Findhorn. Now I play tennis and golf and love to go for long walks with our dog. My hobby is painting and I have a studio at home. Some of my art work is displayed in the lodge. I have enjoyed meeting the families that have stayed at the lodge and try and make sure they have all they need for a wonderful holiday.
