Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
This beautiful picturesque cabin overlooks Jackson Creek surrounded by forest, wildlife, and rivers. Read a book in a hammock overlooking the creek. Enjoy a peaceful soak in the hot tub while listening to the running river, or enjoy a cup of coffee while gazing out at nature and listening to the surrounding wildlife. Frequently visited by deer, geese, a great blue heron, bald eagles and much more.

The space
The property is nestled in the Umpqua National Forest away from the hustle and bustle of cities. Some of the most popular activities include the following:

Near many hiking trails
The best star gazing due to the remote location void of light pollution
Great year-round fishing including Salmon and Steelhead
Popular hunting destination
Rock jumping and swimming
Rafting and River floating
Mountain and road biking
20 minutes from the tallest Sugarpine in the world
About 2 hours from Crater Lake
1 hour 45 minutes from Ashland (Shakespeare Festival)
35-40 minutes to Seven Feathers Casino in Canyonville
Around an hour from many wine vineyards

Things to keep in mind:

There is no cell service at the cabin. Phones can be connected via wifi and there is a landline for use. Canyonville is the closest town with a grocery store.
This cabin is also located in bear and cougar country. Please be alert. Do not let kids roam alone. Be safe when hiking. We have bear spray available and we recommend you take it with you as you explore. We also have poison oak on the property. We’ve tried to clear a lot, but you may run into it. There is Tecnu wash in the main bathroom.
The creek supplies all the water in the cabin. Water goes through multiple filtration systems and has been tested safe, but you are welcome to bring your own drinking water if you desire. The water pressure is also lower than most are accustomed to. Sometimes it can be challenging to have multiple sources of water running simultaneously.
Fire season runs throughout the summer months. During this time, it can be hazy. No fire pits are allowed. Please check local news for active fires in the area.
The closest hospital is in Roseburg (about an hour away).

Only verified users will be accepted.

Guest access
Guests have access to all the property surrounding the cabin including a little private swimming hole about a quarter mile east of the cabin. The swimming hole is shared with the Treehouse
