You`ll love this quaint, cozy historic cabin.  You might take a hike or ski for the day before coming "home" to this cute cabin. Perhaps enjoy the wildlife in the park right outside your front door. If you want to vacation under the Milky Way and literally wrap yourself in a little slice of Montana heaven this cabin will do the trick.

The space
Once you are tucked in for the night this peaceful little home will calm your nerves and the hot tub will take care of those sore muscles. If you feel like venturing out downtown Red Lodge sits only 5-6 blocks away and offers shopping, fine dining, great wine selection and local microbrew! Come enjoy Red Lodge and have fun at Wild Bill Cabin!

Wild Bill`s Cabin is 6.8 miles from Red Lodge Mountain

Thank you for your support as you consider a visit to Red Lodge. We are recovering and progress is being made each day, even over the weekend! If you come to Red Lodge, it is very important that you understand that your part in our progress is to stay well clear of reclamation, rebuilding, construction efforts. Do not ride a bike, walk, skip, or do adventure hopscotch through or near any construction. Respect all detours, road closure signs, and caution tape. We truly appreciate your visit and your willingness to respect these instructions. YNP is working hard to open up as much as possible. The Beartooth Highway is currently under repair, but we do not have timeline yet. Highway 308 east is open, and highway 78 west is opening. Our main street business district in Red Lodge was not flooded. Businesses are opening as soon as they can. If you choose to book post flood event, we will not refund based on scenic amenities that are off limits, or downtown amenities that are limited, etc. We are blocking out properties that are not viable for renting. If you would like to donate to a recovery fund for Red Lodge you can visit The Red Lodge Area Community Foundation or pick a business in Red Lodge, reach out and purchase a gift card which can then be donated to a family in need. We cannot orchestrate your purchase of a gift card. We truly appreciate your healing thoughts, vibes and prayers.

Where you’ll be

Red Lodge, Montana, United States

Red Lodge, nestled in the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains, is a wonderful place to visit if you are looking for family fun, a place to touch the wild, or just a chance to let your hair down. Whether you are wearing Birkenstocks or cowboy boots, you will find something to do here. (Although downtown is paved and we even have sidewalks, Jimmy Choos are probably not a great idea!)

In winter the road ends here. Downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding and sleigh riding are just the short list of activities that you can do when visiting us.

In summer we revel in the Beartooth Pass opening. We are only 68 miles from Yellowstone Park, but plan on a good two hours` drive as the “Pass” is stunning in high mountain vistas, rocky cliffs, and jeweled lakes. The Custer National Forest is a haven for wildlife including elk, moose, mountain goats, big horn sheep, bears (black and grizzly), mountain lions and wolves. Golden marmots are often seen dashing across the trails. Golden and bald eagles often visit our area, as well as sandhill cranes and blue herons.
