The apartment is accessed with a small stone staircase, is on the ground floor, has a separate entrance and is composed of: living room with kitchenette, two bedrooms of which one double and one single with two bunk beds, a bathroom with shower. The apartment overlooks a patio with a small but pretty pool and from the terraces you can admire a wonderful view of the village and the surrounding valleys, with sunsets that will not be easy to forget. For everyone, just over halfan hour's walk away are the Cinque Terre, with its sea and nature parks. In addition to the local festivals, the town offers a renowned opera season in summer.
Varese was the first Italian municipality to obtain environmental certifications (ISO 14001 and EMAS) and in 2004 was awarded by the European Union as the best rural community. The whole territory is appreciable.
The place and what we offer is still suitable for those who want to give themselves a relaxing holiday alone, as a couple or as a family. The farm in the agricultural part is being restarted, while donkeys for children have been present for a long time. 4-legged friends are welcome and invited as long as they are small/medium in size.

We are a family of 4, Percy, Raffaella, Flavio and Williams, of which only the last one on 4 legs! We live in the Alta Val di Vara above the town centre of Varese Ligure (400 m high), the soul of organic farming and the first country in Europe with environmental certification. If you decide to visit us, remember that Liguria is not Holland: the farmhouse can be reached by a paved but winding and uphill road. Then prepare to enter a magical place.
