Spacious 36 square metre studio apartment located in the Heritage Hotel Tower Wing in Central Auckland near Viaduct Harbour, Wynyard Quarter, Britomart, Queen Street & SKY CITY, with all the fun of hotel facilities including rooftop spa, heated rooftop pool and tennis court.

Note: at level 3 you cannot access any hotel facilities such as the sauna, spas, pools or gyms but at level 2 you can.

The space
The studio apartment has plenty of space with a king size bed, air conditioning, kitchenette, bathroom and a washer / dryer. The studio opens out onto a balcony which has a sensational view of the Sky Tower. The apartment has free unlimited Wi-Fi which runs off Ultra-Fast Broadband. The facilities are great here with a rooftop spa, heated rooftop pool, sauna, indoor spa, indoor heated lap pool, all-weather floodlit tennis court and 2 gyms (one on rooftop overlooking the city).

The waterfront is only a 7 minute walk away. The local restaurants, bars & cafes are excellent for Auckland visitors.

The Heritage Hotel is close to the waterfront in Auckland’s Central Business District within walking distance of all major forms of transport. There are many great places to eat out close by. Soul Bar & Bistro is my particular favourite down at Viaduct Harbour overlooking the Yachts. I recommend Major Sprout Cafe, a 4 minute walk to 21 Graham Street, for coffees and brunch. If you are craving fish & chips, I recommend The Brewers Co-Operative on the corner of Nelson St & Victoria St West. Federal Delicatessen at 86 Federal Street, is NZ chef Al Brown’s fresh take on an old-school NYC Jewish delicatessen. On Friday nights the Night Market, located at 20 Fort St, has an amazing array of tasty “street food”, but take cash as there is no EFTPOS available. Located at 90 Wellesley Street there is the Food Truck Garage for tasty NZ style burgers & wraps, and The Raw Kitchen, if you are after whole foods. Hectors Restaurant in the hotel is excellent and also has great vegetarian / vegan options including a raw breakfast. If you’re looking for some excitement, check out Dr Rudi’s Rooftop Bar at Viaduct Harbour which has great harbour views with a bowling alley.
