Our B&B is situated in the Dordogne countryside between Bordeaux (1hr)/Saint-Émilion (30mins) and Sarlat (1hr30), and 15mins from Bergerac Airport. It’s only an 800m walk to our local train station so you can visit a lot of places without needing a car!
We have 4200 m2 of garden which directly connects to the Dordogne river. In our garden, there are many fruit trees and they provide us with lots of cherries, pears, peaches, apples and walnuts. We also grow vegetables and herbs.
Our house has 2 rooms, a double room and a twin room. Each room is lockable and guests have their own entrance. As well as the rooms, there’s a shower room, separate toilet and veranda to share with other guests. We hope the extra space helps you stretch out and there are plenty of places to relax, plus you can use all 4200 m2 of our garden anytime!
Our Lavender room is located upstairs and faces the garden. Consisting of two twin beds (90cm x 190cm), the room also includes a wardrobe and bedside table. From the window, you get a full view of the garden.
Please feel free to use our veranda and garden area. We have games, a book exchange and we’d be happy if you left us your comments in our guestbook. The road is well lit so there is no trouble with coming back late and getting lost!
Interaction with guests
We will welcome you when you arrive, check you in and hand over the keys. After that we will be available for advice, local knowledge and making your stay comfortable.
We prepare your breakfast every day. Breakfast will be served between 8:00-10:30. Please let us know the day before when you would like it. We can prepare takeaway breakfast sandwiches upon request.
Other things to note
The price of the room includes breakfast and Tourist tax. We hope you will enjoy our tasty breakfast in the garden. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, there are plenty of parking spaces and we can offer secure parking for bikes/motorcycles if you wish.
Even though the house is next to small main road, it is generally a very peaceful place. In the garden you may be able to fine a very rare bird called the Hoopoe. There are also families of Owls, Swans, Ducks, Woodpeckers and a lot of different kinds of birds. If you’re lucky you might see hedgehogs and rabbits! It’s like a private park for you!
